It could be a personal transcript of the real tech tree, but I can't believe "Compass" on the tree is showed way before than "Magnetism". Some link really look silly or without any coherence and logic. We already know that is no more mandatory to match every prerequisites, but I can't see how alternate path can develop on the whole tech map... Just a fake.

Perhaps "Writing" is the beginnings of written communication,
with a couple of symbols for certain things and a limited use (for example just for listing/communicating the contents of warehouses throughout the empire [5 Barrels of Llama-Milk, 10 tons of Sheepwool... ])
whereas Alphabet means that writing becomes more flexible and you can communicate a lot of things using a set of rules (grammar) and even invent new words by combining already existing words.

Pas terrible, en effet. Mais ne te prends pas la tête: pour la plupart des gens, l'anglais n'est pas la langue maternelle. Ils sont donc en règle générale assez mauvais.

This tech tree is definately the worst I've ever seen in any civ game.

I would actually love that sort of thing. Starting out as tribes and stuff - semi nomadic - then settling down, attacking, and then building the palace - once the palace would be built, you'd be able to learn much more sciences, etc. etc.

I guess this is a tech three done by some school boy with some spare time, it's poorly done and not particulary believeable on several things. Nothing from Firaxis I'm sure!
