Oomph, I was so close to nailing this one exactly...

Damn!!!
Bears lose 9-7. What a heart-breaker!
That second to last drive was the worst.
Imran: Yeah, those 3 penalties in a row were terrible.
The drive was going well, Orton had completed like 3 or 4 passes in a row and was moving the chains. Then Thomas Jones got stuff on a draw play for a 3 yard loss. Then a false start. Then another false. AND A THIRD FALSE START.... AHHHHH WTF YOU MORONS!!!! Then Orton gets sacked. It's now 3rd and 38. Drive dead.
Orton looked all right passing. That last drive he and Muhammad were definitely on the same page.
Even though they lost, I am still optimistic. Washington is a top 5 defense and the Bears were able to keep the game close, and if they didn't screw up during that drive in the 4th quarter, it's possible they could've gotten a field goal and won.
The defense was good. 3 forced fumbles, 3 sacks, and 1 INT. They did good against Portis (except for 1 play where he got 41 yards)... yes Portis had 121 yards, but he was ineffectual.
oh also, CBS had the Chiefs and Jets game...
WHAT A BEATDOWN THAT IS!! Do the Jets suck that bad? I thought they had good offensive weapons in Martin, Pennington and Coles. I guess not.
