This season I'm not necessarily interested in the final record for the 'Phins, but rather in the trends. What I've noticed in several successful new head coaches is that their systems don't take effect until late in their inaugeral years. So if the 'Phins go 5-3 over their last 8 games (and end up 6-10) then I'm gonna be much more happy going into next season than going 6-10 with the wins being scattered haphazzardly across the season....

Nah, don't think so. I'm far more prolific a poster than you. You hardly ever come onto the OT. While I make over 20 posts a day, easily. Interesting you picked a sig as the payment.

I don't like betting money, and a sig bet will have MUCH more impact around here than a mere $20.

I actually come to the OT everyday (and if +1 were given for OT, I'd be an Emperor by now). Its just that I only post if I have something to say, not just for the sake of posting (namely police threads). My primary posting on topic is is CivIII demo games and CivIV.

Static sig is fine if that what you want to go with (coward ).

for those of you that don't know, Hub Arkush, raging rectum, used to do color commentary during Bears radio broadcasts. Also, he used to host the "Dick Jauron Show" on The Score Sports Radio 670 AM in Chicago. The Show where Dick Jauron uttered the famous, "it's not my show, but I'm on that show". Anyways, Hub, during games, used to rip Jauron constantly, but during the Dick Jauron Show, he would never criticizes the coach and was a complete company man. And whenever a caller criticized Jauron, Hub would attack the caller. During one instance, Hub Arkush interupted Dick Jauron when Dick was answering a caller's question and Hub asked proceeded to rant:

"Hey called, where did you play your football? How long have you coached in the NFL? Have you played professional football?"

Caller: "I played in high school"

Hub: "So you never played in the pro's?"

Caller: "No."

Hub: "Thanks."

And Hub hung up on the caller and never let Dick Jauron answer the caller's questions which were very good questions. The next day on the Score, every Score personality was ripping Hub Arkush and they coined a new verb... "Hub". So if someone questions your sports credentials, you have been "HUBBED".


OH NO... As I type this... Hub Arkush just came on the air for the Bears pregame show... thankfully he's on with another host!

I used to listen to the Hub Arkush show... I mean the Dick Jauron show... and Hub was an unbelievable ass kisser... and I remember that tirade and the fun later by the other personalities. What was really funny was even with the "screening the callers and questions" somebody would get through with a question that wasn't "politically correct" and that's when Hub went into Hub mode... It would have been a better show if they had just let Dick address some of the questions we were all hoping would be asked.
