Damn, almost forgot.

Here is the current playtime, due to NEW circumstances, we are planning on playing THIS Thursday at 8pm (Eastern Time) to around 11:00pm also eastern time. This is all American in case Deity is thinking I am talking Australian time, I dunno.

Dimble I could move you to Persia or Iran if you are THAT concerned with being close to me.

I will send the mod out tonight at around seven o'clock, and should be on up to an hour after that, so feel free to gimme a yell if you have a question or anything like that. Again, if no suggestions are entered to me by IM, ICQ, E-Mail or through this forum, I will assume all other discussions (as far as rules go) are my only suggestions and work from that.

Why don't you just make me the Texans instead. I was studying you map, square 9,50 is roughly in the San Antonio/Austin area.

Concerning nukes, I was thinking that unhappiness should be adjusted so that the population are only unhappy if the nukes are located in the city. If the nukes are located in a sub or at an airfield they wouldn't generate unhappiness.

I'm definetly against a solo player in the americas. Without moving someone else to S. America, you're definetly at a big advantage as far as land goes dimb. Don't you like interaction? Being out there by yourself will be un-challenging and quiet. Like it was in our other game. Which I thought you disliked partly because of your isolation. Why would you want to do it again?

Well, I've finished the mod, and only 37 minutes after I promised. Oh well, it was worth the wait, you can download the scenario by CLICKING HERE!

Look it over, if you have any suggestions make them as soon as possible. We begin play THIS Thursday, at 8pm EST (U.S.) So make sure you are there, and make sure you are clear to play until 11:00 pm.

Alright, AFTER you download and unzip the file. You are going to have to move it into the correct spot. When you unzip the hotw2.zip file, there will be a folder that says "hotw2" inside of the unzipped folder, you must remove this folder and place it into your "Scenarios" folder that is in your Civ2 directory.

I am going to try and lineate this, as last time it caused me to lose some face here at Apolyton, as well as ruin a diplogame:

1) Download the file by clicking the appropriate link above.

2) Once you DL the zip file, you will have to decompress it. If you don't have winzip, you will need to find it, or use AOL's decompress option (if you use AOL).

3) Once you unzip or decompress the file, there will be a folder called "hotw2" in your download folder or your unzipped folder (depending on how you decompress it). WITHIN that folder will be ANOTHER hotw2 folder, you need to move THIS folder out of the original hotw2 folder and INTO the Scenario folder which is in your Civ2 directory.

4) Thus creating c:/....../scenario/hotw2/

Its that simple, if this is confusing to you, ICQ me and I will walk you through it. If its that confusing, hopefully you guys can get it.

I hope everyone got it, we are playing THIS Thursday, which is February the 15th (I believe deity said that its the next day in Australia, so for him its the 16th.

At 8:00pm Eastern Standard Time (U.S.) Make sure you are on time, I would appreciate it if you could all show up ten to fifteen minutes early (or earlier) so we can troubleshoot any possible problems that may arise.

I helped War4Ever get his files in correctly, so if anyone else is having problems go ahead and make sure you let me know about it.

In case anyone is unaware, here is the roster with corresponding tribes...

Capo - Adriatic League
Chris - The Mali
Drake - Zulus
War4Ever - Mongolia
Sun Tzu - China
Mr. Dimbleby - Israel
Deity - Australia

If you are not going to be able to make it, please tell me as soon as you can, we are mere days away. I want this to go down without a hitch. Also if there are any further issues concerning the MOD please let me know as well....

I just came to a realization though, the shield location for the Chariot is not good. So if you have the FW Expansion Pack, simply load up the start.sav file, go into Units Editor and change the shield location manually, you DO NOT NEED TO SAVE IT. But you can if you want.

If you do not have the FW Expansion Pack, then you will have to contact me personally or post here, I will try and get out a new units.bmp for those of you who cannot manually change the Chariot's shield location. There may be other units as I forgot to check for shields. If this issue comes up in more than a few units, I will simply replace the old Units.bmp, and will post it here.

Alright here are the changes....

1) Tech abilities have been cut down 1/3rd of the rate. Therefore you are always working at 2/3rds capability.

2) Fundamentalism has been replaced with Facism, I lowered their tech retardation, and they have to support all units beyond the FIFTH instead of EIGHTH.

3) Recon Plane, available with Radio. It is 0/2/15 and has the bomber range.

4) Longship, available with Mapmaking. It is 2/1/3 and has the Trerime flag, must stay near land.

5) Mobile SAM, available with rocketry. It is a 0/4/1 and has double defense against Air, and has two squares visibility.

6) I replaced the Eiffel Tower with the Olympic Games, since the wonder is useless in an MP game, this is more or less a "fun" wonder, at least it adds cred to your city for Top Five purposes, and possible roleplays.

7) Every single "happy" wonder has been upped 100 shields to create. The UN has also been upped.

8) The Pyramids now expire with Refridgeration, the Oracle expires with electricity.

9) Facsism requries Philosophy and Conscription.

10) Almost every unit has been changed graphics-wise. No changes were made to the normal units' attacks, defense, or movement.

11) The riot factor was slightly changed in order to avoid avid disorder.

12) There is no SDI.

Those are all of the changes, I will put up the new units.bmp file with the fixed shield locations when I get home today.

Oh yeah, just so I know everyone's on the same page. Could everyone please retype the following statement and post it here:

Can't wait to play, the Adriatics are going to establish a peaceloving nation....

that is capable of laying some serious smack down on any of you chumps that try get cute with them.

Hey Ming, this is Capo under a new name (my old one got toasted, wonder if you had anything to do with that?) but I'm not totally against you by default.

The purpose of this thread is over. The game that I was planning has been finished, and I don't need Agharta being punished, or Sun being punished, or even myself being punished or whatever.

So you can go ahead and close this sucker down, simply because there is no more use for it.

Hopefully that solves the issue.
