I've put the turn onto Zso..tho I know he's gone for a few days... have to say, I'm not looking forward to this.. University and the Cybernetics in the same game.. erg. My little Gaians are gunna have a hard time with the lack of fungus on the starting islands. Ah well, here's to trying!

Is everyones faction colors messed up or just mine? It was odd, they were messed up from the first turn of the game..(doesn't really bother me, I know who everyone is). But this turn they all got re-messed up more/again and where as before i looked like the caretakeres now i look like the pirates. Kinda weird.

Don't worry TigToad, it is the good ol' BugID #0105, Mixed_Faction_Colors that you are seeing. I posted about it on http://apolyton.net/forums/Forum27/...00094-2.html#51
Create a copy of your "Alpha Centauri.ini" file for this game (e.g. name it AXT003.ini). In this file, find the lines, that look like:

Faction 1=FUNGBOY
Faction 2=UNIV
Faction 3=BELIEVE
Faction 4=GAIANS
Faction 5=CYBORG
Faction 6=CARETAKE
Faction 7=USURPER
The actual faction names in your file will be whatever your last started SMAX game had. Edit the lines to be as I listed above, i.e. put exactly these factions in this order.
Then whenever you get your turn for the game, before playing it, replace your "Alpha Centauri.ini" file with the version you created (e.g. AXT003.ini).
This way, you will get the right faction colors and graphics.
Well, it is an ugly workaround, but we can't do too much else about this bug now... Let's hope they fix it in the next patch!
