This is game #2 of the Momentum-Hybrid-Builder Challenge. This is a SMAX game on Transcend level and generally contains people who have multiple multi-player games under their belt. I am playing in this game.
The players are as follows:
1. Gaians -- TigToad -- Hybrid #1
daniel_tig@msn.com
2. Spartans -- Kaz -- Momentum #1
eyesofthedragon@mailcity.com
3. University -- Velociryx -- Builder #1
quazimojo1@aol.com
4. Consciousness -- Adam Smith -- Hybrid #2
duncank@mediaone.net
5. Peacekeepers -- Misotu -- Builder #2
misotu@hotmail.com
6. Believers -- BustaMike -- Momentum #2

Keep in mind I have played my own turn, but I have NOT gone through to set passwords, etc you need to set your own. Also, you have your PARTNER's comm frequency but no one elses. It is up to you to set up pacts, etc as desired with your partner.

Turn has been re-sent... oh and I forgot to mention before, the random faction in this game came up as the Pirates. Not my first choice, but at least wasn't a progenitor.

Grin, I'm getting a stable-high speed internet service installed later this week.. maybe we can play a few turns online I feel comfortable enough hosting it if, by some strange chance, there is a time we could all be online. Tig

Turn 1 sent in.
Mass turns would be great. I have a window of time between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm Pacific time.

TigToad,
Do you know who is holding up the show? Maybe they need an ICQ or email reminder.

Adam Smith,
It looks like it was me. I sent my turn to Tigtoad instead of Vel.
My bad. Won't happen again.

Ok, I got my first turn. There is a reload message. Sorry about that. Exited before I did anything but offer something to my pact mate. I didn't know there would be a reload message for that.
I also didn't know that we were allowed contact before meeting. I have my alpha.txt flagged for no contact. I will have to cahnge that for the next turn and switch it back after I guess. That's kind of a hassle.
Turn sent to Misotu

Oh, yeah. Sorry for the reload. My computer has been retarded lately. I'm getting some kind of lock up (my screen goes black with some colored pixels and the top) when I run winamp, word, SMAC, basically any program. I defragged my harddrive and cleaned up a bunch of useless stuff yesterday so hopefully that will help.
2102 to Tig
If there is any chance we can play the first few turns IP, I am definately for that. I can play whenever so everything (unless it's like from 2 to 6 in the morning) is good.
Also, Mis, I can think of several possible things you may want to try to get SMAC working with IP. Check you network neighborhood settings in windows and make sure you have a TCP/IP protocol (I don't know how you would connect to the internet without one but it's worth a shot). Also if you don't have a static IP you can't be a server, so that might be the problem. And finally maybe it is broken, that wouldn't surprise me at all. I cannot raise and lower terrain in the scenario editor no matter what I do, so I would totally believe that you could just have a feature that's broken.
