3000 BC MILLENIUM PARTY OVERSHADOWED BY NEWS OF WAR
Its is with a grave and saddened heart that the Tsar has learnt of the Koreans going to war with the Japanese. Regardless of whomever fired the first shots Russia has vowed support for her Korean Allies.
Naval production, already severly lagging in build speed, has now been accelerated under the guidance of Tsar Baston.
Russia diplomats in Korea passed along their learned knowledge of Nationalism from the Mexicans in order to aid any miltary efforts Korea is engaged in.
The Tsar was also pleased to see the central southern cities of Russia grow yet again. This time it was Novgorod.
The Tsar called upon Mexico to honour the Alliance with Korea (or soon to be) by sending aid in whatever form to the possibly beleagured Koreans.
Russians plan to build two ships of the line laden with troops for the war effort.

2950 BC MODERN RUSSIAN NAVY COMES INTO BEING AND TO THE SUPPORT OF KOREA
The Tsar was pleased to announce the first of the long time promised russian ships of the line today. Produced from the shipyards of St. Petersburg it is expected to be the mainstay of russian military supremacy in this hemisphere.
Russian tacticians will be in dialogue with their Korean counterparts to discuss and combined naval (russian) and land (korean) offensive against the nearest japanese coastal city to Pyongyang. The military of Mexico have also been invited to take part.
The Tsar was pleased to announce further growth in the south of russia today, in the capital itself of Moscow.

TSAR BASTON GREETS MEXICAN STATEMENTS ADMIRABLY
The Tsar was pleased at the Mexican's honesty in their announcement of ther war effort. Whist directing efforts against war with our allies, the Tsar has offered Mexico amything they wish in order to develpe the land they have available.
North of Tblisis was unanimously declared available for Mexican settlement should they decide to settle it. In a promised map exchange mexican cartographers will note that Russian troops are now leaving the territory.
Colonisation efforts will be directed to the south of Russia if the newly discovered land there is devoid of inhabitants. If it is diplomats scouring the territory are to establish formal relations.
Russian officials are looking to arrange future colonial efforts with Mexico as Korea would appear to have ample land northeast of their main land.

2900 BC KOREA GOES TO WAR ON A 2ND FRONT
The Tsar grows concerned over his eastern ally, as the Korean state goes to war this time against Spain.
The Tsar has asked for the ruler of Korea to explain themselves before his allies in Russia and Mexico. What were the circumstances of this war?
Russia has provisionally offered support immediately but will concentrate on the more immediate and more important Japanese front. Mexico and Russia forged new ties today in a further map exchange and an exchange of trade in alligator's from the russian city of Novgorod. The new settlement of Hermosillo was noted in New Mexico.
Today the first ship of the line left St. Petersburg carrying with it an imporant message for the enemies of the alliance, dozens of fully loaded cannons to be precise. It is expected t be the first of many such vessels in the coming years. Its target, the western Japanese coastal city of Odawara. Talks are bing held in Korea governing the fall of this city.
A map exchange has been asked of Korea to show Korean military builup in southern japan and the location of Spain.
Diplomats from Russia landed on a southern continent this year, they found the peninsula unihabited and have therefore duly claimed this land as sovereign russian territory.

Due to Korean military strength, there has been a change of plans for the russian navy presently passing moscow. It will collect a small contingent of troops and settlers first. They will land only the northern continent nearest to Russian and then the ship will sail to japan. (Estimated time of collection in 6 turns east of tblisi). Meanwhile two other ships are being built elsewhere. With Allies in the west and no other nation occupying this continent Russia feels little need for a large land army.
Russians are nearing completion of the research of The Republic.

The new government is still yet to form in russia. Amidst the warring, exploration of the southern continent has continued unhindered by the small domestic crisis occuring in Russia.
Naval production has been circumscribed in favour of developing internal and external trade routes. St. Petersburg has again grown in size (7), plans are being considered for moving the capital here.

2650 BC BASTON BECOMES PATRIARCH OF ALL RUSSIA
A married priest in Moscow for ten years, Baston, after his wife died, became a monk and was eventually elevated to the positions of archbishop of Novgorod (2645 BC) and patriarch (2648 BC). Enjoying the friendship of the Czar, he affirmed the absolute superiority of the church over the state and swore the czar to obedience. Baston is presently proceeding to establish an opulent patriarchal court to rival that of the czar's. At the same time, he is undertaking to reform present Russian liturgical practices. Through these reforms, which include a revision of all liturgical books, he believes that Russia will become the spiritual as well as the political bulwark of orthodoxy worldwide.

I have offered a map exchange to both Koprea and Mexico and the year is progressing well with sitings of ancient monuments in the southern continent. Perhaps i may uuncover new technologies for us?
