	Tuatha De Danann Looking For Tribe Game Put an end to popups!

Drake and AA are still firming up Tribe.

Tuatha De Danann is looking for Tribe game.
We could probably play 2 games at same time, as we have the membership.

3 on 3, or 2 on 2 is fine. Prefer 3 on 3.

Settings are flexible.

So, who wants a game and when?

I should say, discussions were held with another Tribe about a game.
Their stipulation seemed to be a Custom Map supplied by Cavebear.
While I have great respect and fondness for Cavebear, for the purpose of Tribe play we'll stick with random maps.

It is the thought of Tuatha De Danann that we will play the cards dealt us in any game.

It is the thought of the Dark Archons that laughing at your challenging us to a game is the best thing we ever did. Please, if there are any tribes out there who feel brave enough to challenge us, make sure you have the skill or we're just going to laugh at you. The Tuatha's and the OWL alliances and Crusader type tribes need to improve their skills before challenging us in the opinion of the Dark Archons.

I'd also like to state that this smiley looks like a chink.

yes rasputin, we did... and it's funny that Slowwhand should say "It is the thought of Tuatha De Danann that we will play the cards dealt us in any game." seeing as how AFTER we kicked their arses they complained how he was stuck next to two Archon members and then proceeded to say the map was premade. and NOW refuses to use a customized map by cavebear which would have solved all of their grievances in the previous game. i for one, am confused...

I was going to let your re-emerging pass quietly, until you deemed it necessary to show your ass again.

You loaded a custom map, and said nothing to Tuatha.

Tuatha De Danann is looking to play a game with another Tribe that can hang with random maps at any setting.
Pretty flexible, compared to some.

why not use map made by cave bear i hear they are quite good maps and usually fairer than random maps......

Playing on custom maps made by one of the warring tribes of course is not fair unless both tribes get to see the map first.

and why not a rematch where you guys host the game!!

Customized maps are not "purist".
The luck of the draw in land setting is part of the game as intended.
Even custom random is fine, as long as all players have the same knowledge.



I wasn't going to get into it, but since they insist on bring up again:
As far as the map Eyes and Kujo reference, it was after they flat insisted vehemently that they HAD to host.
Well, Tuatha being the nice guys we are and not wanting them to take their ball and go home, agreed that they could host.
It wasn't until after the first 2 sessions that we learned, by way of Kujo's diarreha of the mouth in League forum, that the Archies had loaded a fully customized map.

I'll say now, like I said then, that is cheating.

Tuatha De Danann will play any Tribe, any setting.
Just say the word.
We're not saying we will win every game, but we'll be competitive;
and honorable players will find it a pleasant game.

There's only a few around that have "never lost".

When sloww says customized map, he means using the customize world option. In other words making it continents, wet, temperate, etc. Therefore it IS a random map. What sloww is trying to say is that it is cheating to use that option unless you let others know. You decide. Everyone except for sloww has agreed with us. Even some of his tribe members have agreed with us. But he's a moron, what do you expect?

What you describe, is not what I'm saying was done in the game the 2 of you brought up.

That game was not random.
Starting positions were known by the Archies.
Kujo spilled it in League forum, but Frank removed the thread.

Kujo made response to my reading it in that same thread.
Markusf, I think, knows I saw and saw the post himself.
Boann saw it, and I think Berzerker did too.
I don't know who all did.

So before you start your chest thumping and bringing up past games, you better think.

Hmm...some tribe The best thing they've ever done was laugh at people. No Slowhand, I did not see Kuja's post claiming they/he knew starting positions. Had I seen that I would also accuse him of cheating!

As I said before, bragging about winning a game in which 2 of your tribe had an opponent sandwiched from the start is bushleague. Okay, I didn't say that then, better late than never.
Thats like bragging about winning a game because your horse stumbled on the opponent's capitol after a barb took out the defender.

Kuja is right, Markusf was on the other continent with Berzerker and one other, I think it was Dylan Baker maybe. By the way, do you have any evidence yet?

i hate to say this , but i agree with eyes.. Just because one of your tribe snadwiched between two others not reason to claim loss.. I hope you finished the game honourably like a good apolytoner should... not by quitting like a stratguy ...

For me today or next wednesday from 20:00 CET wood be a good time. I think, there are 2 others from our tribe to make a 3 vs. 3 game. Since we are a large tribe, most other dates must be possible.

In 6 hours it will be 2 o'clock in the morning - not a time, it's really necessaty to quit a game, but a very bad time, to start a game.

Perhaps we'll can meet in your afternoon hours at a weekend - it would be late enough for us (-7 hours). Please offer just a day, you can play at afternoon.

Alright we will play in at that time... We can play any setting, so it doesn't really matter to me. But i am telling you know if there are 6 players someone is going to get screwed over at the start. without premade maps its very difficult to have 1 tribe on one landmass and another on another.

We have 2-3 games in the works.
Tuatha will accommodate you in the near future, but following the premade map game and the game with strat, we're really looking forward to a game we can enjoy.

yes and by "you cheated" we customized the map to wet warm 5 billion etc without telling you, and if you had known these customizations your game would have been SO much better the fact that you were sandwiched between 2 civs would have been irrelevant b/c you are SO good at this game that with this knowledge of the map settings you surely would have crushed us....... too bad you're the only one who buys this logic sloww... like it said, irrational....
