Russian farmers has invented a new kind of farming, which is now being used to cultivate russian lands even further, from the oldfashioned irrigation -to something called farmland, which will yield a greater surplus for the benefit of our citizens. Meanwhile, russian navies has been reinforced by the production of a spankling new battleship and several cruisers. Massive russian investments are now beginning to pay off in infrastructure and production capacity.

Fly Lands on Forehead of Ioannes - Seen as Bad Omen

Earlier this week a fly landed on President Ioannes' forehead. This was taken as a bad omen by his horospecs. They were proven right when later that day his toast was burned to a crisp.

New Nation Propossed!

President Ioannes proposses that, with the help of the Russians, a new Balkan state be created. This comes from the fact that Ioannes realizes that those people are very independent in nature and would prefere self governing. The cities for this new nation are propossed, with current nationality in parinthises, as followed.

Now this is how I propose to do this. Since France isn't completely wiped out, we find a new player for her. Then, online, we grant propossed cities to her. Then she will be known as Yugoslavia (or whatever the player wants it to be called). Of course we can't change in game names. Afterward, all cities in N Africa that was promised to Ottoman will still be granted.

I hope this might make the game just a little more interesting, stir things up and mabey 'restore' some balance. Hope you guys agree!

I thought I said how it was to be done in the post, but mabey not. Anyway, we get online (Germany, France, Russia) and we play the game and trade stuff that way. Of course we'll have to schedule a time for all of us to be online to do it, but that is a minor point. That answer your question?

I am not going to make an announcement untill my turn, but for the players, here are 3 files (rules, units, and cities) that are altered from the original AoW files. They simply change the French units to more Jugoslavian looking ones, and renames the old French 'Colonial Troops' (with alpine ability) into 'Alpine Troops'.
As Henrik said, they have been given their proper name as well, so everything should be A-ok.

8 Battleships (HMS Ark Royal, HMS Dreadnought, HMS Mermaid, HMS Prince of Wales, HMS Anson, HMS Royal Oak, HMS Resolution, HMS Cumberland)

7 Armoured Cruisers (HMS Berwick, HMS Suffolk, HMS Cornwall, HMS Norfolk, HMS Coventry, HMS Kent, HMS Sheffield.)

14 Destroyer Battle Groups.

Do I? No one knew the status of it when we were granting Jugoslavia statehood. I had planned to keep it, and perhaps sell it to the highest bidder at a later date. It is not a port city, so it isn't terribly valuable to me as a colony. If it was agreed that it would be yours, then I guess I have no choice. Shall we meet online during my next turn to exchange cities?

The new board of "Mediterenean Rails" has voted for the exclusion of Spain from the railnet.
The inclussion of Spain has not brought the profit that the board had hoped for, in fact the connection has cost the company serious amounts of money.

The money previously put to the Spano-Italian project will now be used to connect the newly formed member nation of the Mediterenean League, Jugoslavia.

The Istanbul-Belgrade-Rome line is expected to be finnished within five years.

The Perpignan-Barcelona connection will be terminated during the comming months.

The Spanish Government formally protests the 'Mediterenean Rails' decision to exclude Spain.
During the last few months the Spanish government has connected almost every Spanish city to the European rail network. While it is true that foreign access to the Spanish internal rail network is limited, this is only because we do not have the resources to build by-passes at the present.

The Spanish Government asks that Mediterenean Rails reconsider its decision, or at least discuss what Spain needs to do to be readmitted.
