As far as i know blackice you only seem to play 9am your time saturday, which is 2am my time i think sunday morning.
I dont play late anymore my time, because i then sleep through my 8am lecture the rest of the week Im trying to be a good student now

I dont want to sit in lobbies anymore either kind a bit sad
i also hate organising times to play because the time i organise is the only time i cant play generally

I prefer too meet by icq these days.
I should have some time in a week or so though. Spent most of my holidays at mums place dammit so i didnt get to play ctp.

I can play most nights but as you are a few time zones away I suppose it makes it a bit hard.

Description: {When we first started the game I was in dismay because all I seemed to have was plains, but this lead to a lot of the same kind of good....elephant....so I was able to get ahead on Science substantially, which was the only real difference between the two of us.....It allowed me to build mills and factories before Dr Frans got Ag Rev, which gave me a production lead too, thereafter it was difficult for me to be beaten..... I know the next game will be very different, and we will play again soon! Thanks Frans, a very enjoyable game, and I look forward to the rematch}

Description: It was a continent game, with a non agression pact for 100 turns and no piracy.

All the game Quinns was first in the graph, but almost tie.

I got comunism at turn 94, when Quinns remember me that the war was inminent in the next turns.

At turn 100 he attack my Warrior at the border and the war begun.

2 of my cannions destroy the Warrior at the border and 7 cavaleires could move into the Quinns' city at border.

For there I take 5 or 6 cities in 13 turns. He said "you have an unendeless suport" while he saw too many cavalires into his cities.

He must left the game soon, but he conceded the victory, I will go modern the next turn and he can't get comunism yet.

A final word, he never could put a step into my land with his units, and I was ready to attack with 11 SOL in the next turns his coast cities.

Good game berXpert!! Crap! Nice playing. I waited too long to begin to build my military. My PG wasn't too bad, but he killed my science with his Cavalry city attacks, and that pretty much put a nail in it. Good game you Mexican Bandit!! I will get you next time. So stop your gloating!

Got pretty well beat by berxpert. But did dish him a few surprises, but my being pissed was my downfall, kept hitting the wrong keys, and sending my units where I should not. still managed to surprise some of his SOL. 2 turns later and my SOL would have been coming. but hey time for bed I am whacked, it has been a long day.

At the end I was building my SOL, but he have not that tech


I was always far in the PG.

Yes I was pretty well beaten. But i Think my army was more advanced, but you had SOL, and i kept going in wrong directions. I dont doubt that you would have won, if I had made no mistakes, but I dont really care 'cos i play for enjoyment.

and I did enjoy the fast game

I appear to have the exact same problem, so could someone please e-mail me the appropriate files (I think I probably need servers.dat and netf.def from ctp_program\ctp\) at john.bytheway@btinternet.com and maybe that'll sort it.

I've now got a better copy of servers.dat, and I can see more servers. Maybe I'll see some of you online sometime (I'm free almost all the time at the moment, it being the summer holidays, but I'm off to Uni in a fortnight ).

Still can't be rated though 'cos I still haven't finished a game against the AI yet. I'll have to get round to that sometime soon...
