Simply post, to this thread, the highest level of victory that you ever attained, (Chieftain, Warlord, Prince, King, Emperor, or Deity), in a "single player" game of Call to Power, along with the Nation and Territory that you presently reside. That's it! You'll see your name appear on the above list within a week.

** It is not required to report a game until that game is finished. You may report the progress of the game on this thread if you wish, but it is not necessary. Also, try to keep your game names below 12 characters long. Thanks.

TENPL642_AM Report Legend:
NAT.TR - Nation and Territory of Primary Residence.
CTPI RATING - Starts with an initial value depending upon the highest CtP AI level ever honestly defeated: Chieftain=1400; Warlord=1600; Prince=1700; King=1800; Emperor=1900; Deity=2100. This rating changes by winning or losing to other rated players, while playing "rated" Internet games. See the CTP Multiplayer topic entitled "PBEM Ladders" (link above) for details on how this rating change is calculated.

CTP Internet Rules:
1. All desired RATED players must have a current CTP Internet Rating before starting the game, (see above initial rating determiniation).
2. All players must agree on rated status, settings, and victory conditions, before starting the game.
3. No bug utilization tricks will be allowed. Any player found to be using those tricks will be ejected from the CTP Internet Ratings.
4. No "unwelcomed" harassment of players is permitted during game play. Players who violate this rule will be ejected from the CTP Internet Ratings.
5. All disputes will be adjudicated by Quinns, (unless, of course, Quinns is participating in the game in dispute, in which case an alternate judge will be chosen before beginning the game).

CTP Internet Recommendations:
1. Rated Game sessions are recommended to run between 2 and 4 hours. Continuation dates and times should be established before ending the session.
2. Rated Games are recommended to be played at the KING difficulty level.
3. Rated Games are recommended to be played with: 3 Settlers, 1000 Gold, Pollution On, Blood Lust Off, and No Wonders.

Inactivity Adjustment - Players will lose five (5) points for each month they go without a ratings adjustment, (i.e. remain inactive in the CTP Internet Ratings for an entire month).

Saddam,
Internet ratings are calculated almost the same as PBEM ratings with a couple of changes. The internet players have asked to go from a 2 digit to 4 digit rating system. So, for example, instead of a player being rated 20 they are rated 2000. The calculations and adjustments are identical to CTP PBEM, except everything is multiplied by 100. The other major difference is that the rating calculation is only done at the END of the game in Internet games, not at the *9 turns like in PBEM.
As far as being rated in Internet play goes... great! But both you and Nuke Boy need to agree on your game being rated. Once it is completed, report it on this thread and I will record it and process it along with the others. BTW, what was the highest defeat against the AI that you have had? Also, ask Nuke Boy what his highest was as well. Thanks.

You know, Blackice, that sounds like the best suggestion yet. Anyone interested in playing a CTP Internet Rated game, just meet at the Cali12 server at 7:00 a.m. Los Angeles time on Saturday. Too many times we have tried to organize beforehand, only to have someone or other not show up for one reason or another. Whoever is there, we will decide then how to split up and what the settings are. That sounds great Blackice!

Blackice, some wise words. factual and I hope no offence is taken. What I suggest is the following:
We all meet up as agreed and we pair into two player games.. I will take on Saddam, unfortunately the game will, needs must be unrated... The crazy thing is Saddam is, at present, in a lose lose situation - If I beat him, he loses, if he beats me, the veil of suspicion and mystery he has thrown up will lead us to believing it was dishonest - Saddam please address these issues whilst you have time.
As regards settings, we will leave all sliders in the central position as we have different preferences....
Saddam, you I hope will post prior to Saturday to account for your previous posts.... Frankly there are one or two people here rattled by your comments as we set this Ratings Thread up to avoid the Gutter Issues that you are bringing here...

Sure gav,Ive been on CTP LAN for 3 years now. I did register for GL, but I never did accumulate a good record, or a meaningful record at all.Before the 1.2 patch came out, CTP TCP was alot CTP2 and it was difficult to run through a game. My name, I must check, if im not mistaken. It should be Saddam Hussien or Saddam.
Yes I played all the old guys. Yoda, Tal, Sir Leaf,Tito, Zar. All are excellent players. I assure you Gav, Im no walkover, and any underestimation of me will be fatal on your part 
Recently after about 8 months of not playing CTP, I went back and then in January I was lucky enough to hear about 'PBEM' from if I remember correctly, you Quinns.
I was given a link, a started browsing the through the games and began reading them, and got interested in PBEM and joined it. Then I stopped LAN again for a few months(was playing PBEM) until I got a Message from Nuke boy who wanted to play over TCP with me. I had no objections, so there we get toghether every night and play games.
yes Gav i have apoligized for my dumb comments, I dont know what came over me. If I remember i was agitated and tired that night. I know, still no damn excuse for what I said.
I have also sent an email to GL asking for my pw. It was stored on my old cpu browser, which currently resides in the garage. Tho This play is not for GL right?
I will obtain the savegame file and send it for ratings...

I would hate to think you were a bad player, and never imagined for one minute you were anything other than a good player - I will tell you now, I do not get depressed distressed, or even mildly annoyed when I lose, I learn from it, and enjoy the game...
It is a pity you will not play an islands game, but I am sure that we will spar many times on different kinds of map - but for now I hope you agree neutral settings Reg Map - 5 settlers 5000 gold to start- and yeh no wonders.. bloodlust on pollution on, and donut world? emporer or king? - I usually say no nukes, if the game gets that far... do you agree?
I look forward to playing you now, before i gotta say I was a little peaved!
