Well im of the general opinion that is your ranking gets below 30% of mine (for awhile) that is an instaint concession

I dont think that is mean or arrogent
but i tend too get a little bored when i am so far ahead.
i feel the ranking once you get too that stage is very accurate.

I was only playing with the ranking at the end. Saved up 20000 so i could buy all my factories on the same turn
i had allready allmost fully killed off Gav, so effectively it was me and gav's civ vs you, due too, i had 1/2 his cities,with another 1/4 disbanded.

Surprisingly I wasnt drunk during that post lol, too poor too buy enough beer at present 0-; ( and the last batch of home brew is F****N horrible )
I think you should buy me some, i dont think thats too much too ask

Still baught my BABY some steriods though, boy will she love me again

But I can understand you get bored making sols, without the tech to make bigger and better I would be bored too.... Let's face it a good solid hit to your civ and you are toast, mines alone does not keep a civ happy. On top of that you had to try and keep Gav's old cities happy...

Don't get me wrong you are a good player without the bugs etc. You have proved that. Filix seemed some what upset with Zeratul for making it public don't quite understand why do you?

I have had a few games with you that didnt go very long before i left, (or appeared too leave). I do beleive we had a few 4 players, for which i can have many problems if the other players dont have cable. Due to the fact that NZ i connected too the internet via a peace of string manufactured through the help of our many millions of sheep. They try hard but really the string is really is not of the best quality. Maybe they could get higher prices for the better quality wool who knows (well maybe the sheep know, but i cant afford to go visit them to find out)
I also sometimes lose connection and cant come back as a result of women bashing me over the head (with their hooves). I use the phone line a ****** lot, if you have not noticed. Sso occasionally i have too be nice. Even though i completely dispise this oh well.

I didnt get bored against blackice early, by the way fuzzy it was like 5 am and i allready had 50 odd sol just needing too be moved too kill him. Winning was just a mere formality lol. Well if i was really being serious i could say winning was a mere formality 2 mins into the game, but that would be getting egotistical even for me

Oh well another 300 odd words of complete b*llsh*t

You beat me in the three way game with Ice involved.... You did not beat Ice, you insisted on map trading....I was suprised at first, then understood your fear..... Ice went modern soon after I did and had you totally outclassed with units..... But being the nice guy, I never mentioned it......are you really claiming you could have beat ice in that game??? You had no chance surely....

And PaulNo1 is a misnoma now.... Gameleague is one rating system.... You better drop the No1 unless you want to try and challenge for supremacy in the CTP Internet Ratings?

Ive still never ever lost a game too battleships. As i said Dragon found electricty and battleship, he allready had researched commi. before i had even started researching commi. Yet his battleships were no match for the mighty SOL. He did kill all my sol (150 of them) but they acheived all they needed too. They got me electricty and steal and subs, when i took his cities. Which enabled me too get big mines and proper units. While i attacked with sol i build all the main buildings. Banks, markets, academies and publishing houses and theatres. So i went from behind on tec by 4 modern too being 4 up inside 10 turns. I subsequenlty nuked 1 stack and he gave up. Dragon is the 3rd best ctp player around no contest (-:. My land was far superior though. Ifound a great big wonderful island.

A tec lead isnt that much hlep it is soo easy too steal it or take a city and get it. I had teh worst luck ever in getting tec from dragon that time, but still got it in the end.

Oh and jsut too prove a point i will continue that game black ice and not build a another single unit. Maybe not even any buildings. (-:

Battleships arent really that much better than SOL, as long as you have many sol.

I still say when i looked at your civ in that game that you didnt have more than 5 too 7 half decent cities when we shared maps. While all my 21 cities built sol at at least 3 turns some 2.

My god are you serious GAV. Its all very good being able too build battelships, but its kinda no point if you have no decent cities too build them in. I was first too ren if i do believe right only reason my tec was behind was cause i put science at 0 after i got industrial rev.
Now would i do that if i didnt know what i am doing ????????? Only 2 people have beaten me in the last 100 games ive played.
Hmmmmmm i dont think its possible too win if you are 20% behind on ranking that far into the game generally. Now 1/3 the ranking that is just funny. I cant get that far ahead of most newbies. i kept my cities small so very little unhappyness.

The bigger the ass kicking, the more i get rubbished lol. So is life i guess.


Politician me lol. Its better i just talk crap though, harder too make anyone cry.

Behind is subject to a vast amount of variables like how many hits your civ can take before you drop like a lead balloon... something about cardboard cities comes to mind lol. Humm my factories were built commie gov. and swinging into full production yup wrong game I am sure...

We will start a new one we have traded maps in that one you conceeded with that move. It would have taken you 10 turns to reach me. And you had to find me first, there I had the edge I knew where you were

Okay Tomorrow night it is, a CTP Internet rated game.....Who is in?

I think we will be talking Saturday morning (Lunchtime) for Australia/ New Zealand Players, say 7:00pm Ice time ..... BUT if Quinns is up for a game (I think Steve is just playing Saturdays) we can move that back to 9:00 Ice time

SO that is either midnight BST or 2:00am BST - times are convenient for all except Europeans..ME..... anyone invite friends and we all meet in Cali12 Server then spread from their into games..... Saturdays at 3:00pm BST in Cali12 is a good meeting time for a game too!

I can make it at 3:00 p.m. London time (7:00 a.m. Los Angeles time) on Saturday, 11-AUG-2001. I will be there! We should try to finish this game. Players joining this game should keep in mind that we play in 3 hour sessions on Saturdays, (Sundays for NZL and AUS players). And it usually takes 3 or 4 sessions to determine a winner. So be prepared for a three or four week long game. At least this is how I see it Mr. Gavrushka! Does that sound fine?

Nope, haven't followed much for years. Melbourne's pretty boring when it comes to rugby....My not being up to date with the Rugby still doesn't mean that you stand a chance.

Dragon.... Paul now has a save, but Ice and Paul have now gone head to head, and from all accounts the game is very very close...

In the game I was crushed into oblivion in less than a dozen turns, Paul had massive prod, had switched off his science and was churning out military so fast, I did not have a chance to defend myself... Paul had far more military than Ice, however Ice was miles ahead on tech with Battleships and advanced mines against SOLs and Pikemen.... I think if Paul could have found Ice's cities straight away after crushing me Ice would have been in serious trouble, but if Ice had time to develop Civ and throw out a dozen more battleships (which are worth about 50 SOLS??) I think the game MAY have tipped away from Paul...

Dragon if you join ratings, you will very quickly battle for first place with Ice.... and it would be great for the rest of us to learn from another good player... I'd play you anytime, I would have no illusions that I could win, but I still do play better than most
