Could somebody with the video go to http://www.50megs.com start up an account and put the compressed (35MB) file onto it?

It would really help out a lot.

TIP FOR IMPATIENT PEOPLE:
I have a really slow connection (right now 9600 bps ) and when I d/l a big file, I start it up right before I go to bed. I set it so the connection is automatically severed after 10 min. of idleness and when I wake up, the file is there and I've wasted no time!

The admins didn't react, thus I guess they don't want to download the video.

In that case we need to spread it in another way.
I'll do my best this evening to get it at a fast server somewhere on the internet. (I'm at work right now)

Perhaps there are copyright reasons, or problems with hogging bandwidth or server space. Although I would expect you could compress it significantly if you zipped it, or could somehow convert it into an mpg if someone had the hardware

It has already been converted from mpg (75mb) to a divx (35mb). I wonder if zipping it would do any good.

I'll know as soon as I can finist the download... only 7 minutes to go...

Can't you keep the same URL? I have only 7 minutes to go (on 28mb), and it would reduce the clutter if we could resume rather than start from scratch.
