Soon the Shield of Cities surronding Sparta will be down, and the attack on the Main Reactor can commence.

In other news, a small invasion force was landed to the south of Stalingrad at a small cover called Anzio. It is hoped this will take pressure off the front lines.

Operation ShoeString was a complete Success! Enemy Stronghold Captured.

Is the universtry quite sure it has enough units in Defience Freehold? There is only 1-2 units in SParta Command. Also only 1 unit in all other SParta Cities apart from the city north of Defeince Freehold (3 units).

Airstrikes on the front line continue, one Sparta unit destoryed (2 more last turn for the loss of one speeder, 3 in total). Despite this is there is a neverending number of 6 Sparta units avilable!

I fear the front line will bog down until more Air Units are avilable for interdiction.

University forces are currently dedicated to holding the line and moving on Sparta Command, then will move north into the main continental area. The air forces dedicated there are necessary so as to offset the relatively weak status of the ground forces, and destroy the sensor arrays and exposed Spartan units where possible. The University hopes to capture Sparta Command next year, and then may be able to reassign airpower to the north. In the meantime, good luck to our Peacekeeping friends, and we hope to meet you in the rubble of the Spartan Empire.

Sparta Command is now in the hands of the forces of freedom, though the populace is decidedly foolish in its refusal to submit to benevolent scientific rule. THe sheer number of rioters means a famine is a near certainty.

The University will now concentrate on harrying the Spartan southern flanks.

There is SEVEN Sparta units in the city on the Northern Front. Also, unless a Airstike is put it, operation SheString will fail, as there is a SParta rover outside the captured city, with only a 1-3r unit defending it (the other unit was killed last turn).

All other Sparta cities have 1 unit defending.

Good to hear from you. It is our plan to transport Cyborg military units via ships that are heading to your base at UN Equality Village. Our intent is to perhaps land at either of the Spartan northern coast cities of Invictus or Militia Station. It will depend on the intelligence at the time our troops approach the area.

Once having landed and generating a defensive position in the area, the 7 Spartan units presently blocking our ability to move forward in the Northern campaign will have been by-passed. It will probably help reduce there defensive position as they will need to react to the Cyborg invasion on their north coast allowing the northern front campaign to continue its advance with your troops!

There is one defence unit in all the Northern Coast cities of Sparta.

Operation Shoestring has ended in failure, with 3 spartan rovers wiping out the attack. However, this DID draw units awy from the northen front, where 3 artialry units are almost in postion to bombard the city.

Cyborg Field Command recognized that the Spartans with the recapture of their city back from the PK forces from the failed 'Operation Shoestring' would be sending their forces back to the Northern or Southern fronts.

He consulted the Security Council in Alpha Prime about his concerns. They agreed to recommit additional forces to the northern front while continuing the plans to invade the northern coast of Sparta.

There is only 2.2 units on the northern border this turn! However, there is not SIX Sparta units now facing the UoP forces on the Sothern front.

Cyborg Command, now may well be the time to strike.

In other news, Operation Shoestring Mk II is underway, and defeted the Spartan Units on the coast, but was unable to capture the city. This is expected to take more unit away from the main battle fronts though.

University forces have secured Sparta Command, cutting a vital supply link from the Spartan machine. However, the choke point between the north and southern regions promises to be a tough battle.

It is hoped that the Allied forces will take great care in ensuring the Air Power technology is not leaked to or stolen by the Spartan forces, as it could spell doom for all of us.

Needless to say, the pressure is building on the Spartan leader. The loss of her capital city will no doubt lead to rash measures. All allied forces should be on highest alert.

Cyborg Rover Commander Smith looked from his observation post situated on 'Hill 232' as his rover forces quickly seized the initiative. Upon his orders they attacked the Spartan city defenses tearing large gaps in the perimeter of the defended city.

He knew the Spartan were quick to re-organize but his forces had no reserves to support the continued attack. However, he radioed Cybory Field HQ "Sir, the city is now open to capture as all main resistance destroyed! We are re-grouping having no reserves to physically capture the city. Recommend informing our PK allies that if they act quickly prior to Spartan defense re-organization, they can capture the open city. Roger that! responded HQ.

Grrrr. Repreated attacks at good odds FAILED for unknown reasons (A trained Recon missle rover!), and again the Spartan city was emptyied of Spartan troops.
