I've skimmed through BFB's thread with last year's funny story and the positive remarks.

I remembered with affection the things we did last year.

Imran's excellent "excellent adventures". Infat's comics about Gian. The Coffee Shop.

I've skimmed through ancient creations like "the Civ Wars" and the "Apolyton Steel Mill".

My own "Conspiracy of Civilization and Apolyton" which I published only this July.



Where has that spirit gone?

I was just talking with Imran this August, and we decided on some goals for writing a new humorous story involving Apolyton and the rest of the world.

But we both were busy, and soon Sept. 11 came.


However, we can't continue like this. We're unlaughed. inamused. imfunny. This must come to an end!



I'm willing to devote myself to the writing of a big new funny story.

Oh come on. Apolyton Steel Mill? The Apolytown era Coffee Shop? ASTEC? Those were Apolytown! And when Apolytown was banned, it moved to Audentior, which moved to Jasonia.

When was the last time you seen GSquid? Or dStryker? Or WarVoid? Or Jasonian? They all basically left Apolyton to go to Micronations (Although GSquid pretty much left that too)

Yes, we have changed culturally, but we are Apolyton at heart, even if it has changed somewhat. We have, if you will, evolved from Apolyton into Apollo.

This is called the Apolyton 'Funny Project'. None of that Apolytown crap was in the slightest funny. Go to Fjorxc's Encyclopedia Apolytonica to see the forerunners to this.

Excellent Adventurs, Civ Wars, Bug's Christmas Carol were in no way affiliated with Apolytown.

Just remember that Imran, Dracon and Mleo (well, not sure about Imran, my memory might not quite serve me) were micronationalists, too . Now all the guys who are simply too absurd to understand (except me) have moved away .

Plus, I'm quite sure that my post are the most well remembered from Ming&Rah's Excellent Adventure ...

Guy breaks into a house. He hear's this voice that says "Jesus is watching you." He walks into another room and sees this Mynah bird. The bird says "Jesus is watching you." The guy procedes to steal the silver. The bird says "Jesus is watching you." He steals the VCR, TV, jewelry etc...and the bird keeps saying "Jesus is watching you." He goes into the final room of the house and comes across this big, mean, snarling, salivating Doberman. The birds says again "Jesus is watching you." The guy says, "Bird, can you say anything besides Jesus is watching you?" The bird looks at the doberman and says "Sic em Jesus!"

Btw, people, when I started this thread, I didn't want you to come and whine, and remember the good times. Well, yes I did. But that's not the point.

I want to start the doing spirit again. I'm already working on a new story for poly.

Either help me, or better yet - write your own.
