King Case Returns!

King Case today returned home to his palace [ ] and has resumed his offical duties. The King is reported to be pleased with the progress of the war against the despot General AI.

The King is currently reading reports and trying to dry out after being soaked with rain for two weeks. The king is also reported to be grinning with amazment at a working lightbulb.

The Italian Prime Minister, Wintero de Fritzi, today stepped down from office upon the return of King Case.

de Fritzi stated that he was 'pleased that King Case was pleased' with his conduct of the war against General AI. He is currently still in Rome, awaiting a handsome cash payment from King Case in return for taking care of his country for the fortnight

During the handover ceremonies King Case said that the Prime Minister should have 'borrowed' from the treasury while he could. It is believed that the comment was a joke

In recognition of Wintero de Fritzi's proved abilities, the King has given him a knighthood, and offered him the command of the Italian Spanish Expeditionary Force.

Hmmm, Soundwave, I had the same problem, but the House of Commons chose to approve my peace-keeping actions.

Have you tried talking to one of us during your turn? The AI should say 'we are at war with the worthless Spanish, and demand that you cancel your treaty with them at once!' and then you can agree, declaring war and bypassing those pesky ministers.

I've tried to ally with you, but the dopey AI negotiators won't let me I'll try again next turn.

I think that the only way to get around the house of commons thing is to have a revolution. Have you tried threatening the Spanish, and moving units into Spanish territory?

I have been agressive, i'm trying to do it by putting some units outside there cities and hopefully they will say move them and i'll say no and then war... or wait for russia to attck them or france!?

Italian Diplomacy Proves Sucessful!

King Case today returned from a personal vist to London. In a speech delivered from the front steps of the palace the King announced that he had been able to convice our British allies to join the struggle against General AI.

The cost of the King's visit was 50 gold. It is believed that most of this money was spent on gifts for the British ministers.

Spanish Expeditionary Force Nears Coast

Lookouts on the troopship Genoa today sighted the Spansih coast near Valencia. It is belived that the Genoa will begin landing troops after the Entende Fleet bombards Spanish forces in the area.

Monthly 'We love Winterfritz' parades have been held all over France from the start of Winterfritz's government, and as a result the population has increased by around 150 % over it's September 1900 figures. Viva la France!

Britian Declears War!!
The British Empire today decleared war on the German Nation after recieving threats demanding gold tribute amounting to 950 gold pieces... this was rejected by the British Goverment and war was decleared.

The British Foreign Office has called on the Italian and French Forces, not the the Russian Yet as they are not ready.

News From the Front

The Austrian/Serbs city of Split was bombarded and the German Garrison destoryed.

The Danish City of Copenhagen, Arhus & Odense Liberated as pre-promised for freedom for the Danes has been secured.

British Citizens Amazed and Overjoyed
The Whole nation is overjoyed, as the liberation of Belgium, as Amsterdam and Arhem have been liberated.

The European War
The German Cities of Kiel, Hannover, Bremen, Osnabruck, Dortmund and Lubeck... after these cities were conquered the German sued for peace.. so a un-formal cease-fire was signed, but there is no mistaking that The Hun will not keep his word and attack again.

The following is an unedited statement from King Case

Citizens of Italy!
The time of crisis is upon us! The German menace must be crushed before it extinguishes our freedoms! Failure to stop the Hun will surely mean the end of Italian civilisation, and the doom of western civilisataion in general!
As a result, this is not a time for protest and chit chat - all citizens must do their duty for Italy!

Military Prepares for war

The Italian military is currenly finishing it's preperations for war. All leave has been canceled, reserves have been called up and every ship in the navy has sortied to its war station.

German Embassy Evacuated

The staff of the German embassy in Rome have been given a police escort to the Swiss border.
The Italian Foreign Ministry has issued a statement demanding that the German government returns this courtasy for the staff at the Italian embassy in Berlin.

War Declared!!!!!

Official Statement from Foreign Desk
The Russian Empire declares war on Germany for its many threats to Russia. First, they seize Denmark whichhad called on Russian aid and then proceed to blockade our whole fleet as we accidentally for only 3 turns block one armoured cruiser!

Also now evidence has been found that they were backing and supplying the Communist guerillas in Rumania which we had to fight against. Also the King of Bulgaria has sent a wireless saying he is held prisoner by "those hun ********" With all these reasons, for mutual defense in the Entente treaty, we have declared war.

Military Progress: Berlin taken!!!!
After declaring war, the massive Russian 1st Army under Baron Wrangel advanced. At first they got bogged down at the first defense line at Poznan, but quickly got by. Soon after, using rail transportation, our victoious troops took Berlin!!! The kaiser has fled to an unknown location. Our troops are all in an uproar and want complete defeat on Germany! Also Stettin, Dresden, and Danzig have been taken.

OOC: I guess this makes up for the Second Reich PBEM

The Sultan today announced that he didn't know what madness had fallen upon Europe!!

He further declared that the Ottoman Empire was too busy with the Armenian rebels to join any side in the war!!

The Intelligence Secretary has been hanged in front of the Palace for not having been able to predict this outcome! It seems that the German might was not as awesome as everybody thought

I don't think the cease-fire is a big problem if you want to attack him (nobody cares about the reputation towards the AI, do we??), except if the Senate doesn' allow you to attack (I don't remember what kind of gov you're in...)!!

But I fully agree with you on one thing: having diplomatic contacts with another human player without having his agreement should be forbidden!!

Or am I getting something wrong ??
