	Well here is the idea thread for the democracy game! Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

I would like, please your ideas for the democracy game!

First thing to decided is which Civ version to use,
Second: The name of the country or empire
Third: The colour to use.
Fourth: The flag design.

That it is for the moment I think?

I think we should use Civ2.

As for a flag , I don't have an artistic bone in my body so I will leave it to someone more skilled to suggest a flag.
Standard rules are good for me on a nice big random map, surprises are good.

Well, I was bored and got a little carried away, so I made a couple of possible flags.

1. A simple black and white background white a red crowned A (for Apolyton, of course) in the center.
2. A white flag with a large dark blue greek G (for GameStats, since Apolyton is an affiliate of that) in the center. To the left there's a dark red Canadian maple leaf (symbolising Dan Quick) and to the right a dark red Greek cross (symbolising Markos Giannopoulos).
3. A map white 3 horizontal red and white stripes. Each of the red stripes stand for the three different main game series Apolyton covers. The number of stars in each bar represents the number of games in the series. The top bar is for Sid Meier's Civilization (1, 2 and 3), the middle bar stands for Civilization: Call to Power (1 and 2) and the bottom red bar stands for Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (of which there's only one). Superimposed on these bars are, again, the symbols for Canada (Dan) and Greece (Markos).

As you can see, I tried to make the flags a bit more meaningful and related to this site than the entirely fictional flag used at CivFanatics...

- any Civ2 version (2.42 works fine with me - but not all have it)
- large (if not humungous) random map (I like archipelagoes, but not fussed)
- Deity, Raging, 7 civs, Restart
- ACOL call us Polly Tubbies - let's play as them!
- Any colour but purple - we are planning on being Supreme aren't we?

I'm glad Cornmaster and myself inspired you people to try this, it's lots of fun once it gets off the ground!

About flags, we made it a contest, and let the posters decide from entries recieved.

We also voted on game parameters and civ color and such.

Settings: deity or emperor, raging hordes, civ RESTART, round map.

I like the black/white flag best.

Real world maps row my boat, but am okay playing a random map.

rules- starnded (not good a spelling )
map- big world
flag- #1 or 3

Thats just my choices
