Dugrik, blackice has one hi tech email system from what I can figure. His mail automatically forwarded turn 83 to me and I played it last night...then I nearly played it again today.

I'll start posting the turns I play soon...I have alot of work setting up my address book for all my new games. Hours of work. But the plan is to have all potential diplomacy on speed-dial, so it'll be worth it.

Now Ches needs a nap, so he can play with outlook express all night again.

The English fire on a scout with an SOL, then ask for peace. Well I have room for peaceful expansion, but if not if my frontier units are under fire. The future of English/Roman relations is in doubt.

	I'm confused - do we have a problem? Tired of ads?

I've just received turn 86 from Zobo. In the message queue (apart from my unit/city building messages) were 3 messages.

The first said I was (at last at peace with the Romans) !!!
The second said that the Romans had accepted my gift of gold
The third said the Romans rejected my offer of peace ???

The diplomacy 'attitude' screen said the English and Romans were at peace.

Thought I ought to let people know, we may have a problem with this game. The 1st and 3rd messages in my queue obviously contradict each other.

Welcome seige. As for the confusion about SOL attacking, and offering peace, it's a case of stick and carrot I guess

When you are in war with someone and you send him a gift, if he accept that gift he automatically signs a peace treaty with you.

I guess this fact overrided the rejection of peace treaty.
A feature to protect you from cheating you by accepting your gift and then rejecting your peace treaty offer folowing
