Yikes! I am in a tiny, little town this week. It's almost impossible to get online for more than a few minutes at a time.

I have endangered tiles all over the place this turn! How long has sea rising been going on and how far might I expect it to do so?

I think that last turn was the first turn as I saw endangered squares as well ( on all my 10m land-- this map has a lot of that) but I did not get the warning either-- Is it a set thing who gets it in MP ? or does the warning go out randomly or when the ecodamage limit is hit?
I believe that it is common practice to notify all players of such warnings so whoever sees such warnings should do so IMHO.

I'm pretty sure that it's the last player in the turn sequence that gets the warning...and only that player.
I agree with you, Flubber. I mailed Qantaga to that effect when I passed the turn.

I know that Qantaga has been VERY busy travelling and had a lousy connection so I'm guessing he just forgot about it.

and mongoose " nice tactic"-- I knew that one but had never actually had it used against me-- How many units did it require?? ( ahh perhaps I should do some tests myself)

Thanks . . . . I had actually already ready that thread and knew of your massive destruction of the AI with this tactic. I have also used it myself but this is the first time it was used against me to good effect.. Next time nothing in the stack is less than a fusion reactor. (at least it will cost you more units)
I figure that as long as my stacks are small, the destructing party loses as much or more as the player in the blast area. Large stacks = worthwhile destruct targets

Hmmm. Well, yes, but...there is such a thing as strategic necessity, also.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
In the news tonight, chairman Flubber called a snap election stating that the majority of the population of the Planet were loyal to him. Census reports indicate that the votes available from the various factions are as estimated as follows
Hive 409
Uni 2
Morganites 106
Drones 163
Believers 70
TOTAL 750
The candidates are Flubber and Qantaga and all 409 delegates from Hiveland have declared for Flubber. With the support of this 54 % of the population, it appears the governorship will return to Flubber after a 20 year hiatus
In other news, the believers became infuriated when the Hive would not provide "gifts" of tech and immediately declred a vendetta. Hive defense forces are monitoring the situation.
