Statement from Flubber of the Hive :
We have been informed by the Morganites that they object to our occupation of the Alaska region. We know of no principle by which the Hive should accept their claim. We claim the lands on which we stand by right of first occupation and use as evidenced by the establishment of settlements. Our boundaries extend from our base a full 8 tiles, indicating that there is no nearby Morganite base . If the morganites had been willing to provide map data and cooperate on other issues, our position may well have been different. But the international situation is such that we get no concessions on other issues and see no reason to concede ANY vacant lands to the Morganites. The Morganites were the key in altering the international situation from one of co-operation to one in which self-interest is the foremost concern. We consider that we are merely playing by the ground rules they have established. We have complied with all prior agreements we have made and consider them to be honorably concluded. We are unaware of any agreements at all that would impede our settlement of vacant lands.

Of key interest will be whether Archaic has the option to vote for Q or not. I likely called this election a turn too soon, when to many of us had similar vote totals.
Were it as you say Chairman, I would have called this election when I was the other candidate, no?

I think he will get the same options-- IIRC the votes listed when it was my turn to vote were the same as what you posted ---
hmmmm mongoose, good point EXCEPT, Yang's theory is that there is an alliance forming against him. You calling an election that you cannot win yourself is consistent with that theory as you either want to help an ally or weaken the Hive empire. Either one would be upsetting to the Hive leader, no ??
