no one CHOOSES to be a "nerd"-- people choose their interests and have certain abilities and its on the ignorance of others to create a label
I had the nerd label placed on me -- I grew up in a very small town and I was the top student every year hence the label-- It did not matter that I was an all-star hockey player or that I dated a cheerleader . . . The fact that I was the top student and didn't drink my face off meant I was a nerd to some (although the "brain " was a more common label.)
Kids will find a way to label each other.
When I went to residence in university I had a new female acquaintance call me a "jock" because of all the sports I was in. I was the same guy playing the same sports. . . only the label changed.

sigh...
first, i dont mean smart people are nerds. I'm talking about the type that wears shirts tucked into their pants, doesn't get a hair cut, doesn't comb his hair, actually literally smells, and constantly plays weird card games.
I do not have aspberger's syndrome. thats just some bullshit my mom made up. psychologists and school counselors have made it clear that I obviously do not have aspberger's. They always say I am obviously too articulate to have aspberger's.
I am at Apolyton Civilization Site because I had enjoyed playing Age of Empires when I was 13. I posted at the AoE Heaven forums when Sargeant Sheet's and Giant Squid arranged an invasion or some **** by apolyton posters of that site. I came over here to post nuisance threads (hence the name Albert Speer) in response and then i stayed. and it is VERY easy to accumulate 5000 posts posting in an off-topic forum since March 1999. Half an hour a day of posting will easily let you reach that (remember that **** like ot posts not counting and limited threads per day are pretty recent here)
As for me being disliked here... that may be true but it's only because of my beliefs and my rants of personal issues. I have always been respectful to other posters and have never been banned for non-prank related reasons. As I've siad a few times before, i'm the only poster here who ends all his posts with a thank you.

For example, before christmas break, I gave every girl in my class a hand-made x-mas card. Plenty of times I've physically protected girls, though usually they did not want my involvement. I've given girls I like a dozen roses and teddy bears and written poems about various features of them from their eyes to their smile. Now for some time, I figured that I must just be some sort of sensitive loser to most girls, yet girls have referred to me as macho and **** like that (bad boy) and refuse to have anything to do with me. Many times, just yesterday in fact, girls who i dont even know just come to me and tell me out of nowhere that I am cute but i find they actually have no interest in me (how can they? they dont even know me).
To make a long story short, I seem to fulfill your criteria for an ideal boyfriend who you assume is a nerd, yet though i possess these qualities, i am not a nerd and am not the ideal bf of any girl.
and by nerds being dirty... I mean that from my experience, nerds have always been in need of a haircut, a wash (actually smelling), and a new change of clothes that won't be tucked into his pants.

I pray to God to make me worthy of a good life. yet I never understand how people who commit wrongs are capable of having good lives and being cared for by friends and family. How can nerds who don't give a **** about physical appearance and relations with others and so on possibly have good lives? I dont understand this.

People are people, they do what they like to do. So the person likes card games? So the person is comftorable dressing that way. Why do you care? Get off their backs, Speer.

I thought it was 'thanks'. So if I posted a big long rant about how much I hate (insert minority group here), and ended it with "thanks" then it should instantly be respected?

If they need some better hygeine, then they'll eventually catch on to that. But no need to bring that out in the open and say that someone or a 'group' smells.

Maybe because they're nice people? You claim that girls don't give you a chance, that they steriotype you as being 'macho' or being a loose cannon or obsessive, yet you're categorizing people as being unworthy of friendship and love simply because they need a haircut and play card games you don't approve of? You're such a hypocrite...you need to take a good long look at why you think the way you think. I'll never understand it.

Poor hygiene is not restricted to any one social class, you can find that among any number of group, though druggies and goths have always seem to feature these traits more then any other group.
The fact is Speer, I never have liked you. I may have acted in a way that made you feel that way in the past because you are a fellow rightist. However, you have always the given the impression that you are a cruel person who is intolerant and does not show proper respect for people who are not females. Still, I believe you have troubles and because I am a Christian I will put my feelings aside and try to help you.
Look at yourself, Speer. You are obviously not a happy person. You have a very low opinion of yourself and do not seem to really respect yourself.
You say you pray to God for aid. Yet you say this at the same time you disrespect some of God's human creatures, specifically nerds(in addition to retarded people). If you want god to help you, act in a way more consitent with the teaching of Jesus- with respect and kidness towards your fellow man. Do you honestly think Jesus would have been a bully? Why don't you try helping out and sticking up for a nerd who is being bullied? Girls often see willingness to protected weaker people as a very positive thing. Also, if you are helping others, you will probably feel better about yourself- much more so then if you know you are being a menace and causing terror and humiliation in others.
If you want help from religion, look more at Christian teachings. You are a creature of God and thus have inherent dignity and worth. It does not matter how society sees you, or how any other person seees you, for it is God that is all wise and all knowing and who has the ultimate morality, and you are his creature. Learn to respect yourself. Learn to see the way people mistreat you- such as your mom and stepdad- is wrong and take action against. If you respect yourself you will be less willing to denigrate yourself to the low level of bully- the type of creature who girls typically look at as a disgusting thug.

No, there are plenty of people here whose beliefs I find abhorrent and others find abhorrent. Many people find my beliefs abhorrent. But in you others see a basic lack of fundamental decency and respect- others see a bully. And those types of people are not liked.

Because many of them try to enjoy life as it is, and they do not judge themselves by the standards of society and others. And that is why they are happy and you are not. Having a good life should not be contigent on how you look or how others feel about you.

It's sounds like you're trying to 'trick' them into liking you which isn't a very healthy mind set to have.

Albert Speer: The simple reason is, it seems to me, that you give the impression of being a desperate, desperate man. If anything you need to treat women normally, and laugh with them, and not be awkward, and simply use your common sense. Also, when you are not overtly chivalrous, the act of holding a door open has a much greater impact, because then women know you're not desperate, but merely polite.
