Actually I have a female friend (shock, horror I know, but I haven't finished yet ) who can't take the pill, it plays hell with her, including emotionally (suicidal isn't good) so she can't use the things. So whoever goes with her has to wear a condom, even if it is a long term boyfriend.

Yup and on the other side of the spectrum are the girls that suffer circle irregularities and they have to take the pill so that it regulates their circle (don't know the word in english) regardless of sex.

But a pill or condom is not the only contraseptive means you know (i.e. spiral)

BTW I'm amazed to hear that both a condom and the pill were unable to prevent pregnancy... I guess those tiny failure percentages they both have

They are useful for holding up your trousers above your boots when you don't have any rubber bands, and some blokes I know swear by them for keeping their firearms clean, but I can't really see any use for them other than that.

Using a condom is always a good idea unless you want kids. No form of birth control is perfect. Your best bet is to use a combination of birth control techniques.

My friend use to work at a teen clinic, and the people there said birth control works about 99 percent of the time. So pregnancy is still possible. Using a condom with birth control will make the chances ever less likely.

My advice is: use a condom, especially with strangers. If you have the right kind of condom, it really doesn't feel that different anyways.
