We have talked about the middle eastern conflict, the war against terrorism in Afganistan and the state of social welfare in the European Union.

Of course all this don't mean notin' when you are with a girl and about to get it oooown!

It is the divine ordnance of heavens.

However there is a question of the outmost importance that does manage to penetrate the sweet vail of lustful elixirs that run through your mind in those heaven created moments especially when you're with a girl that "you don't know very well" (cliche saying).

The Greek ad about condoms, which contrary to popular belief has nothing to do with sodomy, is very absolut:

"You wouldn't jump without a parachute, so why DO IT (very subtle that one ) without a condom?"
says the full of hopes young Hellenian looking at the camera with a invitingly smiling cutie in his embrace.

But is this so absolut?

Let's say you are with a girl with whom you've only going out 3 or 4 times and fate, in its infinite wisdom, has ordaned that you will get it ooown on the 4rth date.

What to do then and there?

A wise man has said that having sex with a condome is like chewing a chewing gum with the paper still on it. Of course this would destroy the abovementioned ad message but anyway it might hold truth but it is also not absolut.

In a panel full of actors and other supposedly vivere pericolozamende and "known to the wider audiance" people the presenter almost choked on his microphone when a vulouptious lady said that the use of condomes is an act of "not loving".

The whole thing went disasterously wrong when another actor said that even if she knwe that her loved one had AIDS she would nevertheless sleep with him "unprotected".

Having an accute death wish...

In any case and without trying to intimidate the virgins of Apolyton I am asking the others do you use a condome each and everytime you engage in sexual intercourse with anyone you don't know for the past 5 years?

Or more, relaxed, what do you think about this matter?

Isn't this a little flawed Paiktis? I mean, do you have to take 5 full years of protected sex in order to stop using a condom, instead of having the guts to propose that you both should take the HIV test waaaay before those 5 years?

To try to make this a bit clearer, do you act on the feeling that "I know this girl" or don't you when thinking about a condome (pressuming of course that you have the choice/option of deciding).

Assuming that this discussion includes heterosexuals as well as homosexuals and bisexuals (DUH) I find this thread to be kind of pointless.

If you do not care about your own health and your sex partner's health, then go ahead and have sex without a condom. Apparently, for those people, no amount of information will convince them to have safe sex.

If you care about your own health and your sex partner's health, then USE a condom.

As for me -- I never have anal sex without condoms. I always use condoms in that case.

Aye, that I did... with my current girlfriend (of almost 11 months). She is on the pill (for medical reasons), so the pregnancy thing was neutralized, and we both were sure we didn't have any STDs (she hadn't slept with anyone since her last visit to the gyn and I was a virgin), so it was a bit better.

If it was just someone I met at a bar (or something), you better believe I'd wear a condom.

I always use one, unless my SO wants it otherwise. I know she's clean, and I think I am (none of this one night stands for me ), but since she's doesn't take contraceptive pills since its effects on the human body is not totally clear, so it's up to be to do the right thing

Hum, ok, now I get it. Well that's a tough one. You would have to know her past very well, and be sure that she's really an honest person, and has nothing to hide on that subject.

Well I am one of those fools who always use a condom unless I'm in a long term relationship and there's another option.

I know some guys (including one very close and very primiscuous friend) who have "taken their chances" now and then and I was just wondering how wide spread this is.

Ah sorry. Don't know any Italian, Italian catch phrases aren't "hip" here anyway, mainly because most people are having trouble with English as it is

If you know the sexual history of your partner, then what's the problem? I know I'm clean because I give blood every year or so, and I know she's clean because of her history. I'm only up to two unprotected partners at this point in my life, so where's the dilemma? If I was uncomfortable with a girl's history or wasn't sure of it then I'd force the use of condoms.
