I think some spy capabilities should be maintained. Maybe reducing their movement to one and making the cost per spy massive (like 600 shields each) would cover it?

I agree about howies having one mvt;
and as long as SDI is in the game and spies are limited then nukes are OK - maybe with shorter move though;
extending Oracle is good;
extend HG too.

Gold gifting should be banned, if not already banned, because of all those bugs getting extra gold for the gifter.

Pyramids aren't very useful once when expansion is finished. It should be done way before refridgeration even on big maps,don't you think so?

Can someone explain where/how to change the rules.txt if I want to extend the life of the oracle?

It's just a text file.......seems really easy. I just looked, I think the @endwonder for the oracle should be changed to the abbreviated techname you wish the oracle to expire at.

Whilst you're there add *barbs always from huts for war4* to the @barbs settings.

Click on rules.txt

You'll get a pic like the one below...

Then just type in the abbreviation of the tech you want to replace Theology with... Save. You are done.

The Easy Way
1. open the rules.txt file
2. scroll down to the tech advances (@civilize)
3. find the appropriate abbreviation for the tech you want to make the oracle obsolete
4. scroll down to the wonder section (@endwonders)
5. replace "the" with the abbreviation found in step 3.
6. save the file (optionally backing up the original first)

The Easier Way
1. get someone else to do The Easy Way
2. claim that you did it all by yourself
