Life has been good to those who inhabit the tiny plot of land known as the Holy Empire. The growth and sol of the tiny nation has seen curves of unimaginable proportion. Contact has recently taken place, but war is not yet desired. Military defense of the empire is stacked at the mainland borders, impervious to attack from even the most desperate warmonger. The Empire has chosen not to take its' only wonder yet, as a greater project awaits. With many mistakes of the lazy porn surfing Emperor due for reform. and an upcoming wltkd burst, glory is assured for the people for countless years to come. Blablabla, blablabla.

In the year 4000 bc the twins, Domulus and Deitus, were born. Thus began civilization. Deitus immediately founded a city, proclained himself Emperor Deitus Dudius, and told his brother to go out and roam. In honor of his brother he named his city Roam, but since they hadn't yet learned literacy or writing the scribe incorrectly recorded it as Rome.
Then a voice came to Deitus in 3950bc. It said "You must slay your brother so that Rome will have only 1 emperor" and thus Deitus Dudius slayed his only brother and Rome was secure.
As time passed Deitus felt guilty about the horrible death of his only brother. Thus, he immediatly called for a state funeral and learned the art of Ceremonial Burial.
After that, the Romans pursued a strategy of rapid growth, in both settlements and defensive units. Resources were adequate and an intersection of rivers helped early expansion.
In 1650bc, Deitus realized that his throne was given to him forever, by God, and thus he was crowned King Deitus Dudius.
Around the same period several encounters with strange humans occured. Persians, Carthegenians and Spansih felt inclined to meet the Romans. All cultures were in awe of the power and multitude of the Roman civilzation and immediately requested peace. Deitus Dudius granted peace to all, but trusted noone.
One of these strange cultures claimed to be God. At first Deitus was concerned, but when this heretic asked to trade maps it was obvious that he was a mere mortal, (a true Deity would already have that knowledge) and an inferior one at that. His request was denied.
One group of nomads arrived by ship. They were the Spanish. After suing for peace, this tribe kept landing warrior units in the heartland of the Roman Monarchy. After several attempts to contact the Spanish and ask them to remove their uninvited savages, Deitus was forced to give the order to kill them. A noble troop of horsemen attacked and killed the savages, while a group of trienes chased thier lone triene away.
Currently it is rumored that the Roman Monarchy not only has the most cities (12) but double the military units of its next closest rival. There is, however, a dubious graphical representaion of the history of civlization (no doubt created by the as to yet undiscovered Japanese) showing the Romans in 3rd or 4th.

The Great Spirit having descended to the waters sent a beaver to dive below and bring back soil. The Great Spirit then spread the soil out on the waters and expanded it to create land. The Great Spirit was not yet satisfied, He needed creatures to occupy the land, to acknowledge the Great Spirit, and flourish in their new home. Some of these creatures were named "Sioux" by the Great Spirit. He was so happy with these creatures, the Great Spirit chose to descend to the land again and assume their form and lead and teach them the ways of the sky beings.
So it was in the far away days, and so it is now. The Great Spirit ****antanka leads the Sioux and under His leadership, the Sioux
have built a beautiful society free from the desire to control and destroy the other creatures.  The Sioux seem to be alone in this world, but ****antanka tells us they share the world with others of their kind. We search this land hoping to find these beings, but have failed to this point. Some of our explorers have reported finding the remains of a Great Celestial Serpent in the form of a mountain ridge winding along a distant valley. ****antanka told the Sioux He killed this Serpent in battle to form the Heaven above us. ****antanka is the Great Spirit!!!

I posted this before and somehow it got confused with everyone in different timezones - but I can't commit on starting these games until 8:30pm est at the earliest. I work until 8pm est and have a 20-25 min ride home if there is no unusual traffice. That's why I originally posted 9pm est. But I will try my hardest to make it 8:30pm est - and I'll try and move quicker.

deitigodfather's tiny civ is commanding considerable respect on this over-crowded planet...
As you can see the mighty Vikings' agenda is to kill all DEITIANS and the running dogs of the Vikings are following orders.
The world must stop its petty squabbles and look at the big picture here.
AS the friendly Sioux and Persians know, the DEITIANS are a peaceful trading nation but the Vikings have filled some minds with fear that we might conquer all. These are false rumours and clearly laughable when you look at the world situation....

It is well known that in the dietyland, otherwise known as the land of the fat people, that there is much wealth, and many large cities ready for plunder.
Much has been said about dietyland, but one thing stands out above all else and that is that the only thing more repulsive then there looks is their need to constantly talk. Our great leaders long ago realized these creatures have no place among the civilized world. With that thought in mind great science projects have been under taken to develop military might strong enough to drive them out. Unfortunately further details can not be made availible as they are still classified.
The Viking High Command applauds General Zylka and hopes that he will ride the world of these swamp dwellers once and for all.

My apologies to Berzerker only. With my convictions, I would have thought the same thing with any other player in the world.
Deity, you know what you did. You saw the sioux map without a tireme on it, and heard my cries that I moved around all radii. Even then, and before markus told us the information that you "never knew before", you told the new guy information that would have been tainted given the situation. Screw Zylka around with that in mind and hack it out when berz gets back, right?
I have deleted civ2 in anger, thanks to all who gave countless hours of enjoyment.
