Get to UN ASAP. I'm going SpaceShip ASAP. Too many civs hate me.
Must be my winning personality.

Even if firaxis's first shot at it was slightly rushed, they are clearly working to fix it. Why shouldn't we have faith in them?

Ok people, the readme file on the new patch is coming out Wednesday, which leaves us with a day or so to make some predictions about what is definitely going to be in the patch.
Personally, I think the following aspects will be altered:
1. The AI will use Artillery.
2. Planes will now be able to attack ships.
3. Research will be viable on the higher difficulty levels.
4. The editor will contain more stuff.
Things that will remain unchanged:
1. ICS will still be exploitable
2. Corruption will still be as prevalent.
What do you think?

I like the game and everything they have done, but I also like to be kept informed, especially when we know that there are many things wrong with the game.
Plus how do we know they won't change something we like? We don't.
Faith is a relative term. |
I would rather have them work hard on the game and have relaxed PR than talk to me all the time and never do anything. They are on these forums, even if they don't post a lot. I trust them to listen to me and give me a decent game, even if its not exactly what I want. They can't please everyone. Don't try to force it.

"I'm looking forward to the next "it's Friday, where's my patch?" thread. The last one was very philosophical."
Heh, Since I will be busy all day friday, I don't mind. But I won't be starting a new game until saturday anyway! Any bets as to whether or not they have to rerelease the patch due to some minor error, again?
