That would be a poor second to what I'd really like to do, which would be to break his nose. I'm convinced that you get people who attain a certain transcendental degree of viciousness/stupidity at which point it's totally pointless to try reasoning with them.
This might be interesting, but it's not new. Three years ago I was asking why Joe wasn't banned. The brutal truth is that I don't come here to read racist, anti-semitic crap, and I doubt that anyone does. Let these anti-jew posts stand and they'll end up dominating the OT, in which there will be people arguing for and against them on principles. Then you'll get the odd evil little bastard tempted out to post. They hang around the OT and I can name them. Plus you'll get people trolling the issue for laughs.
Banning? It isn't nice, is it? I'd still do it though. Weed one or two irredeemable rats out and leave the forums a more tolerant and friendly place. Significantly, it looks like the latest troglodyte has already been IP banned from another forum, and while I've no idea of the ins or outs of that affair, it looks like holocaust revisionism was involved. That's beyond stupid- it's evil. Given my ignorance I'm not going to point any fingers over that, but in view of what the moron's posted here so far it's unlikely he'll feature on my Christmas card list.
Still, I can't ban anyone, and my opinions count for something less than diddly squat. I can do little more than hurl abuse at him. And I will.
Anyway. what's so "interesting" about it? Is it because I've been banned myself? Those bans were for hurling abuse at a homophobe and a pro-eugenicist. Spot any trends emerging?

While moderation shouldn't be political motivated, it should be there or keeping the site clean of inhumane flaming. And since this was not politically motivated but rather a flamefest, he should be banned.

Herman deserves a ban for his comment about the jews being the son of Satan.
However, some of the quote cited by Sirotnikov are not that far out of line. The bit about governments doing surveys to find out how their propaganda is being recieved is true for most governments in economically developed countries, although it would be better if Herman said Israeli instead of jew.
Still, I'd back Siro's call for a ban. Sometimes we need to tell people they've stepped over the line. I went to far once and was rightfully banned. Herman needs his knuckles rapped.
