It doesn't put it anywhere. Open up MS Paint, hit paste (in one of the menus), click Yes (if you get some pop-up) and save as a JPG.

Just check the background tab at display properties, all the graphical background files should be listed there.

I just learned this, Albert!

1. Printscreen button on your keyboard (save to clipboard)
2. Open MSPaint or other graphics program
3. Paste and save as .gif or .jpg
4. When posting, go to the bottom and "Attach file" (NB this doesn't appear if you are editing your post)
5. Resize and resave your picture 5 or 6 times until it's small enough for Apolyton not to reject it as being too big.

Simplicity itself!
