Under the current context, the only way to arrest the murderers that have survived is by the action of the Israelly Military Force (calling it a Defense force is, by now, somewhat of a stretch). It would be advised not to kill them on sight, for otherwize, they'll get automatic martires.

A better solution would be if the arrest was to be performed by an International Security force, which requires Israel's aproval (the Pal's are calling for one for ages so I don't see them putting any obstacles). It would work with the Israelli police to gather information and with the Palestinian authorities to assure the arrest.

Krazyhorse, those people are governed by Israeli law, so it's totally unreasonable to demand that they act in accordance with PA law instead. Even Palestinians in the territories followed Israeli law before the PA was set up; I don't think they're "border guards for the settlements."

that USS Liberty incident has got me wondering... If so , then why? why would Israel bomb an American ship on purpose? I think it is possible , but I don't see a reason for it to happen.

I can give you several theories I've seen floated about as the reason for the attack. But, truth be told, I don't know the reason for the attack.

I don't think that Israel should burn in hell for this. I actually like the country. I think that the US should have retaliated for the attack though.

I'm with Dal on this one. As an American, I'd be really pissed off if it came to light that the Israelis deliberately attacked the Liberty. However, I've never seen any convincing evidence for that theory. This lack of evidence, combined with the absence of any convincing Israeli motive for the attack makes me assume that it really was an accident. I'd love to have it cleared up once and for all, but I don't think that's going to happen.
