both good movies with solid stories, acting, direction, "moral messages", etc etc

why on earth do you get to see the american flag in the end???

there is no connection with the story, you could have spiderman jump around the building of london or french soldiers trying to save private lui!

and no, i wont use the word propaganda. i wont speak about undercover messages of the secret world goverment
i WILL do that unless some comes up with some decent explanation...

even more, it was made as if someone thought: "ok, so how can we get an american flag in the end?"
the movie ends, spiderman walks away living JM behind and then we see a 10-second computer generated scene with spiderman jumping around in new york ending in on the top of a building with the flag.....

because there was a big scene where spidey was on the WTC. they had to reshoot 1/4 of the movie or something when it fell. i guess they just added the flag as a tasteful show of compassion for those lost. sorry if thats lost on the homose... i mean greeks.
