Kneel before Grog!

Tons of Hollywood movies go overboard on flag-waving. It bugs me sometimes, but in this particular case, though I haven't seen the movie yet, it makes a modicum of sense. Set in New York, released post-9/11... it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that putting in a shot of Spidey w/flag will sell in the US. And the movie was made to sell in the US. If that hurts sales in Greece (which it apparently didn't, at least in your case), it was probably still worth it. Americans like their flag, Mark. And most of 'em couldn't care less what you think of it.

Saw the movie yesterday. I definitely didn't want to, but my friends did, so I followed.
Well, this is one hell of a crap movie! The guy is a total ****er! The girl throws herself into his arms, saying "I don't love spiderman - I love Peter Parker" and the guys just stands there and says (to himself) "sorry, no can do, the way of the hero, responsibilities come with power, blah, blah..."
Hello?! What kind of lame excuse is that? How did Superman manage then? How could he have both his powers and the girl?
The way they made his best friend hate spiderman to make an excuse for a sequel is pretty lame too. Couldn't spiderman tell him sth like "It's the Green Goblin who killed your father, it happened like this:....." and devise some excuse?
Other lame spot, the moment the GG faces the wrath of the New Yorkers. Come on!
Plus the movie had all those sllllloooowwww dialogs which didn't fit well with the extremely fast action. Plus it lost all the humour it had at the beginning.
C R A P ola, I say!

It identifies the officers of "Greek Company A, Louisiana Militia, Capt. Nicolas Touloubief, 1 Lt. Alex. Laxaredo, 2 Lt. D. Gregori, 2 Lt. N Bragoreff, and 2 Lt. Constantino Coratosos." In addition, there is a military order issued from the Adjutant General's Office, New Orleans, dated June 5, 1861, which reads:
Order No. 478
Col. J. T. Winnemore will issue to Capt. Nicolas Touloubief of the Greek Company A of one captain, three lieutenants, eight noncommissioned officers and seventy privates . . .(illegible) . . and subsistence stores . . .(illegible). . ."
