	Why should i put the seat back down? Tired of ads?

This is the third G/F i've had this argument with.
Last night was the first time she slept over and this morning we get into our first argument...
"You're going to have to learn to put the toilet seat back down now..." she says.
"No i won't." i tell her.
She just stares blankly at me like i'm some kind of martian.
"You use it, you leave it down: I use it, i leave it up. It's as easy for you to put it down as it is for me to put it up."

She thought about it. She said "Yeah, OK."

What are your thoughts ? Did you guys get off that easy ?

why are you arguing over such a silly topic? i think it's nice when a guy puts it down at night..cause if i have to get up to go in the middle of the night, i'm groggy....not paying attention. it would not be very nice to fall in.
at the same time, i'm not that big on it as long as he doesn't miss! there is nothing more annoying than a guy that can't aim.

Yeah, but what if you get up in the middle of the night, maybe drunk, piss all over the seat cos its left down and then go back to bed. When she gets up, she ain't gonna be too happy.

Hey! If we're sleepy, we don't want to turn the light on. So we hunt for water sound and than center. Of course, being drunk makes it worse...

When I'm drunk I tend to sit anyway. It's too much effort to stand, use one hand to piss and use the other to keep the walls from spinning.

Well, as you've seen the argument was short lived.
And by the way: why is it that you can't be expected to wake up long enough to put the seat down but we're expected to aim straight in the same conditions... or put the seat up... and then back down?

errmmm. revolting facts sharing time:

When I go , I always stand up ( unless I am drunk ) . But I never put the seat UP when I piss. . I never miss though . when I was a kid , I practiced a lot the "look ma, no hands! " routine in this area.

cause you want to keep us happy. lol. seriously...if anything..you can aim into the whole that is already available..but not every woman carries a butt load big enough to not fall in when the seat is up.

I think i may have a keeper here.

If i compare to the other G/F with whom i've had this argument and used that "line", she's the only one who doesn't seem that concerned.
The other 2 were !
You know the type: never really giving in... they'd always bring it up in conversations when you least expect it etc...

Never think it's gonna end with a girl. These strange animals have a special memory ability to store ANY smallest tiny error you did in the past 10 years and grow it like if each of them is a matter of life and death.

I always keep the toilet seat down : it's much more easy to sit than to aim, and I can do something else (like reading) at the same time - and I don't have arguing about the toilet seat

I remember way back (before being married) trying that "you can keep it up just as easy as I keep it down line." Didn't work. And if you have animals, they'll throw that in your face too.

But the way to stay happily married is to not fight the small stuff. It's easier to just give in and save it up for the ones you really need/want to win.

Well i was going to introduce my G/F to Poly but i think i'll wait until she gets me to give in (if she does). That way she won't get her clean mind polluted by all your theories.

And if she doesn't mention it again... i'll know she's "the one!"

This kind of crap issue is exacly the one some women like to nagg about since it's a chance for them to get any control at all. Keeps them strong enough to go back out in the world where they are just objects for our amusement. Who cares enough to argue about a thing like that? Thus even weak women can win it.
