lol, i just used my spys to find the nuclear sub and a normal sub hiding near the north pole!i'm gunna surround it and follow it, once my forces in the bases around greece are full of modern armor i'm going to attack!

I had some good uses of nukes.
It was one of my early Emperor games.

Basicaly, I didn't counquered anything early so I had too little cities.
But I needed to get some city power base for space ship program.

And my conquest was too slow.
(they had Mech. Inf.)

So I used several nukes to soften several enemy cities.

After that conquest was quick & easy.

Luckly I has in alliance with every other civ so there was no diplomactic penalities.

And luckly they only had 2 tactical nukes mounted on nuc. sub far away from my cities (subs were later destroyed by succesfull use of steal plans & battleships)

well with some people yes and some not , ..............;

it shall rock that boat , and if its still there , it shall be "slightly" damaged , so it shall return to port , ....... where you can wait for the kill ,.......

also with the nuke , you dont have to "pinpoint" , ........

you can always bomb it with an airunit first , .......
and send some workers along to Greece , this way you can nuke it first , ......


try to get their troops to city of you on their continent , a city you really dont need , when they start to knock on the door , with 20-30 guys , nuke them , ........

i ain't nuking my own city, i know its just a game but i like to play my games with as relistic an attitude as possible, the only time i'd nuke my own city was if it was life or death!

hi ,

ahem , you could nuke the city before you take it , ....the Greek one that is , its full of people who shall resist and go in disorder , so , use a nuke but only so that the nuke hits it on the border , .....this way you still have clean land for food and create a buffer with polluted land , and most likely the roads there are gone , so , it works as a kind of defense, .........

haha, i had a nuke design with frances name on it almost from the start of the game, luckly for them i invaded and killed them off just as i hit AD.

maybe building a couple , both ICBM and tactical shall stop them , .....just let them know that you have them , by setting one of on a remote place or so , ............

Here it is, this ones just before i declared war on greece, its doing pritty well, My war against the greeks would have alot more casultys on my side if it wasn't for the great weapons known as, the nuclear bomb. Its crippled all the units in the citys, and those Hoplites put up little defense!

I agree! :

I mostly nuke one turn before achieving a space race victory. So I also say f*** the consequences. My people take off for Alpha Centauri, and let the rest bathe in my radiation.
