You mean that if your blood sugar is over 400 you can cornhole two extra 10 year olds without worrying about prosecution?
The age of the perpetrator also matters. If he or she is 6 years or less older than the victim it's not considered pedophilia.

No, just that the definition I heard was stricter. A 40 year old with the desire to boff a 15 year-old was considered a pedophile, while a 25 year-old wasn't...

It's slippery-slope argument, and moreover it's a really awful one. There's a qualitative difference between 10 and 17 year-old that isn't present between 17 and 18...

I'm sorry, but the notion that a 16 year old is all sweet and innocent is ludicrous. I remember the highschool years fine. Teenagers are absolute conniving, backstabbing and manipulative jerks. Just watch a cheerleader squad (GP, no, don't watch them like THAT).

If I was 16 and some hot 30 year old seduced me, I would have been f*cking thrilled, pun intended. But more likely, I would have been trying to seduce him. I did, after all, more or less seduce my first guy, and I was 16 at the time.

Once teens are at the age when they are horned up and ready to go, nothing can stop them from doing what they want to do. Making such acts criminal will only make everyone a criminal.

Isn't it nice how the people who advocate age of consent being 18 are over 18?

I think the age of consent, for all sex, should be 14. Most kids tend to do it anyway, no sense making criminals out of them.

No prob. The kids are (mostly) physically reproductive adults at that point. Just also think that the obligation for parents to take care of kids should end at that time also. Make it the same age for everything: beer, cigs, legal issues, humpin, etc.
