Do you people (mostly Kralj and other moderators) not read the new threads?!

I posted there (Holiday Season: 2003) that I wouldn't be available... in any of my games (though that I would try to play them if possible at my in-laws place)... had it been a big deal, especially with as long ago as I posted it, I should have been told that I needed to find a sub for this game (and possibly others) since I alerted everybody a good deal prior that I wasn't going to be available.

Kralj, while I appreciate your feeling of a need for speed in moderating, that also means that if somebody says they're not going to be around, you tell them they need to find a sub for x game(s) until the player's return... not just go and next them.

Fast Fliers T65 is now sitting in my inbox along with T64, I am playing ALL turns received and next time an announcement like that (in the "I'm not here" thread or a new one) especially considering the fact that I've also posted in the Holiday: 2003 thread tenative plans for Christmas... I would like some warning that I need to find a sub.

That is all... I'll be posting my final Christmas plans in the "I'm not here" thread today. After Birdman and redbull read the thread I assumed incorrectly that others would be able to read it there as well.

sorry FF i for one didn't know you would be gone. i dont have time to check out the new threads on a reg. bases is this the only game you were next on. i for one don't have a problem of you playing turn 64 and going on from there. i will try and find time to check out new threads but with my schedule it is hard, most times its play turns and post then bed.

Beside it's YOUR responsibility to find sub (especially if you know you'll be away) not moderators.

Noting that did cool me down, and thanks for doing that... part of a lot of my annoyance was the idea that you just went in and hit "n"... I couldn't remember if a lot of my buildings would be done T64 or not.

Except for the fact that holidays are not normal vacations and most everybody in the same country is impacted by them... sometimes internationally. Bird has already commented on my Christmas situation in the Recruitment Center... I'm liable to agree.

I often don't, but I attempt to take a peek every now and then, it got me into trouble in the SMAC DG so I may be just more aware of the fact that we can sometimes just get stuck in the threads we're subbed to and never look outside them.
