The Apolytonian
First Official Poll Closed Yesterday
It was a landside victory as the people overwhelmingly endorsed a limited constitution. The other options for a strict and detailed constitution or for no constitution at all may as well not have even been put on the ballot. The poll is the first political victory by presidential candidate Trip. Legal expert Ira Lexicon (Ed: Made up by this paper) said ' It was a demand by the people that people now drafting the constitution keep it brief as possible". There is some controversy whether this document should be called a constitution at all, but no suitable word substitute has been created.
Voting in Full Swing
Voters have turned out for the first elections of this currently unnamed nation state in record numbers. One poll observer commented that he had never seen anything like it before in the history of this current unnamed nation. One candidate 'the banana' is said to be running in several polls, the legality of which is questionable. It is of note that when this paper went to press he (or she: sex is expected to be male) was losing all of his elections.
Call For Submissions
The Apolytonian would like to extend the invitation to all citizens of Apolyton to write articles or editorials for the paper. “Currently we have one reporter and even though I like him, he's really no more than a damned hack" current editor Moral Hazard stated. Asked who this reporter was he declined to comment, stating " I'm not going to defame my, err his reputation.' It's rumored that the paper will create a scapegoat. Luckily it's also rumored that a better reporter {Sirotnikov}, is currently in negotiations for a position.
Retractions & Apologies
We apologize to our subscribers that the sports, comics, business, gossip, and local sections were not included in today’s paper. We are however looking around for some one to blame for that.

The Apolytonian
Problems with the Polls Several polls in this nation have caused a bit of controversy. First the difficulty and barbarian polls fell under scrutiny. Some citizens argued for an average. Others argued for a simple plurality, among them tribesman MrWIA, who stated, “Simplicity: the one with most votes wins.” Still others believed that a re-poll was in order, this idea was voiced by another prominent tribesman ADG, “we simply need a re-poll between those two close up, and then see what happens, who gets the most voters.’ Although the debate is far from settled the voting option currently in the lead was for a simple plurality.
Other polls have also taken criticism. The naming poll was called undemocratic by supporters of the dominion and the banana republic. It is also unclear whether the reporter poll will take precedence over the previous poll calling for the sharing of save file among all citizens.
Advertisement DO you oppose over organization? DO you think we can trust the people to be able to figure things out without many rules? Do you trust that the ministers will make good polls without strict rules about how they should be? If the answer to any of these is yes, you should join the AAACC3! As the fastest and only major party, we can be a good political support in the second term elections! Plus, one of the bonuses is that when you join, you are 80% guaranteed to someday become Vice President (the only member who hasn't been VP of either game is skywalker)!
Life in a TentOur tribe has wandered for eons, since um what was our creation story again; I never paid attention when that elder kept droning on and on. Recently rumors have been triggered by the high counsel that the tribe intends to settle, and cease their existence as wandering nomads. Addressing these concerns trade minister candidate Spiffor, stated, “I have highest respect for the lifestyle of our ancestors. [However] Our empire needs a leap forward to insure even more greatness”. Moral Hazard’s concerns were more selfish, “Quite frankly I’m sick and tired of following the buffalo herds everywhere, and living in this crappy tent. Do you have any idea how hard it is to haul my skins of banana rum around? All I want to do is settle down and start a banana farm, drink like a fish and then maybe buy a few slaves.” Resistance was expected to the move, but none has been voiced.
Our World The world will finally come into focus tomorrow with the conclusion of several polls. Through a pact with our fathers whose is dead and gone; the tribe has been given the power to reform our world. A citizen, who wished to remain anonymous was leery of taking on this power, “Sure we’ve got the power, but I don’t trust my dear dead dad, for all I know he’ll probably come back and demand my first born. I mean, I was his first born, and I know he wanted me dead.”

hmm do you like the justified text or not. I'm not sure, I like it but not that it goes all the way to the edge.

Dear Mr Hazard,
Thank you for providing our nation with such a great news paper, even if it is a little on the expensive side.
As a suggestion, I would like to request that you focus on some of the promises our leaders have made throughout their campaigning, and write articles on how well they do fulfilling them during their term.
Your fan and IE Minister,
