I'm a level 20 fighter, who is basically a walking god at this point. Actually, the game got really boring for me with all this power.
Anyway, I didn't need any levels of enchant, because they'll enchant for cash at the mage's store just remember:
1)Get reaction up to 100/100
2)You can sell your weapons for gold after the enchantment is done. So be sure to bring some expensive weapons you won't need.
The only problem is you need about 30K to get started.

I can't kill them before they kill me. =( Any help on the selling of 20,000gp weapons though?
Edit: Cygnus, I can't find that trader. Any details I may be missing? How far off of that road is he? How far from each city? Thank you!

Uh no, i can't say any of those groups are out for my blood. Well, I know thatt if you're caught wearing an ordinator armor even once it is really bad news.
In any event, it's Pedamine the trader, or something like that. Search for her somehwere north of caldera (maybe a bit North-east, moreso than west...?)
The merchant is a black women (are Redguards the only black people...?) and she'll be wearing shiny boots. She'll also beg to be taken to Gnarr Mok. I ran into her when I did the quest with the Naked Barbarian.
Oh yeah, and she's not off the beaten path, so make sure to stay on roads.

I've heard of a crack whore in Pelagiad who apparently buys moon sugar for high prices, but I've never bothered to look for her since I found out.
I need to sell a few 20,000 gp items. I have yet to hear of anyone with 20,000gp (or slightly less, obviously)!
Edit: Just figured this out. For others to know, buy things from the creeper in Caldera that you've already sold to him till he has 20k, then sell the weapon (in this case, an Ebony Longsword), then wait 24 hours till he has more money and sell the stuff you bought in 5k chunks. Makes me wish for Daggerfall, where merchants all had unlimited money!
Btw, the Boots of Blinding Speed are on the trail from Ald'ruhn main road to Caldera (or maybe it was back road), and she wants an escort to Gnaar Mok.

Oh sod it. I'd spotted that cave before I hit sulipund, and just didn't notice the name. D'oh
I did have the presence of mind, however, to give Eydis Fire-Eye the code book back - but I read it first Likewise Ajira's stolen reports.
Also - a hint. There are are very few books in the Orc manor in Caldera, but all of them give you a skill increase. Also, killing the 5 Camonna Tong agents in Balmora without committing a crime (ie, taunting first) nets you a book from the Fort Captain which contains another skill increase.
And yes, I need my Alteration skill up a bit. At least it's major, so as I unlock things I'll increase it quite rapidly. Mysticism, for Soul Trap, unfortunately is only a Misc skill. Oh, and the master's Alchemy eqpt in Caldera? Nobody complains if you walk out with it.

So what? Buy back the gold you spend on the enchantment with excess equipment you're not using. Yep, that's right, the money you pay for the enchantment goes right back into the enchanters "currently carried' gold.
