I wouldn't get upset over someone not liking opera.
But you're implying opera is somehow a homosexual thing and that only homosexuals enjoy it. This is simply a gross stereotype.

Some people seem to have an amazing need for making their sexual preferences public. Over and over and over again. And in every context imaginable.
But to point to this fact would be homophobic, I'm sure. Not to mention if one was to say it's becoming a bit too much at times. |
No, Winston, the problem is that people seem to think that a gay person merely referring to his sexual orientation, whether in a serious or humorous context, is somehow different than a heterosexual doing the same thing. Heterosexuals do it every time they mention a spouse, a date, a significant other, etc. But if a gay person does the same, it's not okay? Nice double standard.
Why don't you give us a nice limit on how much we're allowed to bring up homosexuality.
Oh, and of the threads that are specifically about homosexuality, nearly all of them were created by heterosexuals, including this one!
