I don't hate any specific genres, 'cuz if the melody's good I can usually handle anything...rather, I just hate the LYRICS usually found in black-death-satan-whatever metal or such things....

1) Techno

Oy, I've got a headache already.

2) Rap

BUT, some rap can be quite entertaining in its own right, if one listens to it not as music but as performance art. Nonetheless, it seems to become a haven for thugs, mysoginists and homophobes to live out delusions of grandeur.

3) Country

If it isn't the inane lyrics, it's the flat, twangy voices and the same 3-chord pattern found in every other country song.

4) The Civ3 Modern Era music. Puke-aliciously bad KennyG sounds. So I guess that means lite jazz, yes.
