	Proposal: Next Step Suffering from ads?

I'm officially proposing an idea that Timeline came up with.

Question:
Should we use the jungle Settler to turn into Workers to begin clearing the massive Notylopa Jungle to our north?

Well, we appear to be egyptian, so if civ abilities are on (I missed the vote on that, was there one?) our industriousness makes clearing jungles a possiblity. However, I think that it is not worth sacraficing our first settler... there is enough grassland for a second city on the peninsula. I think the jungle should be cleared posthaste, but not by disbanding the settler.

no, a settler given to you early on is a godsend. it can double you're production (if it wasnt stuck in a crappy jungle).

You totally took everything I said out of context, and to be frank, I don't see how that could happen by mistake.

What I was suggesting, and still am, is this:

We simply build 1 or 2 workers instead of another settler, since we got one from a goody hut.

Simple enough for you?

EDIT: The true nature of this poll + thread remains unclear. To me it sounds like you were suggesting we merge our settler with our city, and then use the two pop make 2 more workers. And I am correct in assuming that is what this poll is/was about?

Yes, and I'm not twisting anything to suit my needs. I voted 'no', I just think in a situation like this, we need as many options as possible open for discussion.
