Brazil deserved to win that, the way England were playing in the second half. Congrats to them.

Wasn't that f*cking gorgeous. In the last half an hour of play every single player writhing on the ground seemed to be a Brazilian.

I guess England's just that violent

Brazil was very impressive.
Their first goal was a pure art-work.

Too bad for the british who have a good team.

You can't possibly be implying the ref was biased towards England can you?

There was still 15 seconds left on my TV when he called time.

The ref wasn't biased, but the Brazilians were taking some pretty pathetic dives

Personally, I think it was pretty shoddy refereeing all-round. Brazil should have been pulled up for some of those dives, but Ronaldinho didn't deserve to be sent off.

It's only the world cup, it's not like they need competent refs or anything.

mills is a bastard. that ronaldinho thing was for yellow, surely not for red. he did not even have a single foul, AFIAK, before he got red. also, mills faked it a bit, there was no serious contact.
after that, brazil had right to resort to every tactic availiable to steel time. england showed how miserable it is when trailing, stupid ericsson set their minds on defense. they simply could not mount pressure when needed.
oh, let me bask in the balmy sun of this summer morning

It was a bad sending off, but there were plenty of times when he should have booked players (on both sides) for diving. I don't see how we had the ref on our side.

Of course, the Greeks are probably biased .

It was a yellow card offence, but he did catch Mills. Hey, let's not forget what Rivaldo was doing.

Oh yes the Brazilian took dives. No englishman did that. It's not like Beckham ran in and feel in the box at least two times. Aslo, Scholes took a obvious dive in a good free-kick location. It was just like against Greece where England cheated their way thtough. Oh no lets blame the referee for taking out a brazilian. That showed that the referee was biased against england.

Only sad losers blame the referee in a game like this. England put up a good solid defence in the first half and Owen used a error by Lucio to make a goal, a good solid tactics. The second half England really sucked and didn't deserve to win. They couldn't perform anything on their own.
