Urban...I am a decrepit old man with a child and a nearly wife partner. I had my first digital rectal exam yesterday, and, unlike a few others here, I neither enjoyed it nor look forward to its repetition. The good news is, my prostrate is "inconspicuous", whatever that means...he could have said "huge and bulbuous" for all I know, but it was hard hearing him through my sobbing and the thick cloying guilt and shame.
I sell cars for a living to people who either
A) couldn't buy steam off a burger
or
B) are fabulously wealthy and extremely cheap.

I have a right and a duty to be here...young, single men with glistening pectorals...err....ummm....never mind. Damn that exam! Something's been awakened!
You should get out more if a moth is the high point of your day, that's all.

My life is disturbing.

The last disturbing thing I saw was in January when I had my wreck.

Picture Sprayber early in the morning walking along the side of a ice covered road to help the person that slid off the road right after he did and from around bend in the road comes a pick up truck that has lost control at the same spot that Sprayber and the other car. Now imagine Sprayber still in the middle of the road trying to run on ice to get away from the sliding truck and the truck coming within a foot of hitting Sprayber.

That was disturbing.

I doubt it's a vampire bat. Mostly just a normal bat.

Jerry Pournelle told of a story of a bat that took refuge in he domicile during one winter when he was still an undergraduate.
