*sigh* maybe one day i will understand why my email always does weird things...its a perfectly normal hotmail account, but for some reason it was unable to download the (this time properly displayed) attachment.

Anyway, the not zipped file from my old email worked, so i could move my 2 units in that not too exciting turn ^_^

I had thought I was going to get my turn before this, but since I haven't I have to inform you all that I'll be gone Friday-Sunday evening. I will send the turn out on Monday or Sunday night and I should hope that leaves Phobos plenty of time to get his done. We really do need to try to speed things up a tad though and I apologize for my own vacation from the game, but it's not negotiable. Have a good weekend everybody!

even if we all took a turn per day the reality is PBEM games take years (5 players,150 turns) to even get a sight of whos looking like they're gonna win its the reason why when i first came on here a few months ago i was asking who'd like to play for a few hours every weekend using ip, even if it was just to get the first 50 turns done.

In this year the Human Hive under Chairman Lazerus celebrates a technological breakthrough, the first faction on planet to piece together data which will benefit all those who follow the true path to enlightenment.
Chairman Lazerus also initiated the first attack on Lady Deirdre of the Gaiains destroying a Gaian base after Deirdres refusal to co-operate and her movement of scout patrols around Hive borders was considered a threat. Deirdre wisely backed down after this and signed a truce.
Chairman Lazerus hopes she will be more open in discussions when the two next meet and that she will keep her military well away from Hive forces or further action may be taken when the truce ends.

This year, our scouts had contact to a foil near the shore, they gave us their leader's commlink frequency. Captain Svensgaard offered a peace treaty, although he didnt want to share his marine technologies. However, peaceful coexistence is much better than just tolerance or even war, and maybe he will change his mind when our people get to know each other better and understand that we both would benefit from technological exchanges.

Not too far from our bases, we discovered what seems to be part of a large and fertile jungle. We expect to be able to easily produce most of the food our growing population needs there, and will be setting up a base there soon.
