Sorry for the delay in responding!

The Candle'Bre mod for Civ3 was suspended right where it was when I suddenly found myself with a right longish list of CB stuff to do that was directly related to getting the game out (terrain, re-writing several systems, etc). Still a good idea, and time permitting, I'll get back to it, but it's very definitely a "spare time" side project.

As mentioned above, it might work better as a CtP2 mod ... especially since the editor is much better for that game.

I saw that you've started to play CtP2 Vel ... had a look at the editor yet?

Hmmm....that's a good point. It would mean ditching the work we've done so far, but ::shrug:: it's a side project, so what the heck....

EDIT: Haven't had a chance to peek at the editor yet....still stumbling around blindly on my first game....we're not out of the BC era yet, but I must say, it's a remarkable system....

why are you making a Civ3 Candle'Bre Mod


Call to Power 2, I 100% know could handle much more than that civ3 rubbish. It is so much more moddable so you would be able to make it much more like what Candle'Bre will be like (and I mean MUCH more)

Also if there was anything im sure the modders at CtP2 forums would be more than willing to help. If you have some really good ideas that relate to Civ as well as Candle'Bre we could use your ideas in CtP2 mods too.

Anyway im just rather suprised (VERY)
