Plague, it seems Hunter is dropping a lot of PBEM games, although these can take anything from 1 year to 2 and a half years to complete from scratch.

If you are looking for 1 opponent, look at the PBEM Challenges thread. There you can have 1 on 1 PBEM Challenges with an opponent, and these are a lot shorter, and rarely go above 6 months.

PBEM takes away the pressures of time, so you can play with someone in Oceania if you live in Europe, but Internet play is faster, no doubt.

u dont need to play for hours or need broadband for a live game. this is why the "save" feature was invented. you can play for hours or 10 minutes. i only have 4 hr limits on dial up and have been playing live games since this game was made, and pbem's actually take longer to play unless through icq

Turn 107, 5 players, deathmatch with special rules where you have to eliminate only one player-target assigned from the start in secrecy, early to mid modern, good position, currently in offensive with another player.

2. Let There Be Rock
Turn 76, 6 players, standard, late renaissance, second position in the powergraph with a slightly ahead from the third position.

3. Three Guns
Turn 65, 6 players, team game consisted of 3 teams of 2 players each, deathmatch, late renaissance, quite balanced with all players but one currently battling for the first position in the powergraph. Applicant must be a resident of Oceania.

4. Monkey 1
Turn 275, 8 players, standard, late diamond, weak position with few chances of winning, chance to play the first CtP PBEM game ever started in Apolyton and see how a PBEM game ends.

5. Another World
Turn 150, 6 players, world map, standard, first position in the powergraph, currently in war with another player, very challenging for warmongers and capable military leaders.

6. High Voltage

Two Players needed for Fly High!
Fly High is a seven-player game currently on turn 137 in the Modern Era. The Gigantic map sports a single continent with several inland seas. Two positions are available:

The Spanish are in fifth place, but very close to the middle of the pack. They are in an excellent position for growth and with the right allies could be a force to be reckoned with in the end game.

The Indonesians are in last place and, to be honest, are in a world of hurt. They are currently at war with their neighbors, the Romans, who have recently taken several cities. This is a great challenge for the player who knows he can take a civ on the brink and bring it back to glory!

Please respond in the Fly High thread.

One Player and a Moderator needed for Genesis!
Genesis, an eight-player game with a very stable player roster is set on a Huge map with several continents and lots of ocean. One player and a moderator are needed.

The Americans are in fourth place in what is a very tight race in a very young game. The world can be your oyster! Join now!

We are also in need of a Moderator to give us a gentle kick in the butt when the turn stalls. If you aren't moderating at least one game, consider this as a means of giving back to the CTP community.
