8:00am assyrian time

Saddam addressed the nation

After hours of trading shells on the Irbil-Xian province junction, Assyrian high command Muhamid Bukar phoned Baghdad with the news. Mongol troops continued to shell across the border without regard for human or diplomatic consequences. He promised the Assyrian garrison would repond with the means they had at there disposal. 4:40am Mongol troops began systematic dismantling of assyrian farmland. I made the decison to initiate Operation Fulcrum, with full force. A plan for action against the Mongols should they ever launch a large scale attack.

Early this morning; while the world was sleeping. Assyrian jets pounded Mongol cities, and several tactical nukes were used to dislodge heavy mongol troop buildups. 2 Army groups in the Irbil province were given the green light, Fulcrum was and is in full swing. Two Mongol cities fell. More to come, as 3 more army groups have been dispatched to join Operation Fulcrum. I regret this decison had to be made, but it was inevitable, as Mongol sprawl was encroaching upon the rural eastern provinces.


This morning, I have a message to deliver to our enemys. If any nation see's to interfere on behalf of Mongolia, our heavy hand will be brought to bear upon your nation.

Good evening my fellow Americans. As you know a few turns ago the Arthibus Pact (a/k/a the Axis of Evil) and headed by the Assyrians launched an uprovoked attack upon our SEATO ally the Mongols using weapons of mass destruction

Recently I authorized Operation Mirage to enable American forces to come within striking distance of Assyria and their evil allies the Egyptians.

I have also authorized our military to engage in unrestricted warfare against the Arthibus Pact, which has been designated Operation Grand Slam. As part of these operations one Assyrian and one Egyptian city have been attacked with nuclear weapons. Unfortunately there was substantial collateral damage. Additionally, an Assyrian sub discovered in a patrol was ordered to surface. When its captain refused, he and his sub were sent to Davey Jones locker.

The Arthibus Pact engaged in an unprovoked attack and then threatened any nations coming to the assistance of the Mongols with being hit with a heavy hand.

America is a nation of principles. One of the principles we hold in highest regard is our commitments. We commited upon the formation of SEATO to treat an attack against one member as if it were an attack against all member nations.

Our military is strong and determined. Although this conflict may be long and we may suffer casualties, I say to the proud members of our armed forces your objective is clear, your mission is defined, and your goal is just. American is proud of you and your many sacrifices.

I call upon the Arthibus Pact to withdraw from Mongol territory. Our military campaign against the "Axis of Evil" will not end until our goal is acheived. For each American and SEATO city attacked or nuked, two Arthibus Pact cities will be destroyed.

The Americans will not falter and we will not fail.

In other news Assyrian troops pounded retreating Mongol forces. 5 cites have fallen and decadent troops loyal to khan are laying down there arms. Our forces reached the coast this day, capturing the 2nd largest mongol city of Seoul and the provincial city of Kabul. Several high pictched battles are being fought in southeast asia, with Assyrian troops getting the better. An american expeditionary force was sunk as Assyrian subs moved to strangle Japan from the new world.

More decadent Mongol cities fell and the enemy continues to reel from devasting losses. Elite Republican gaurd units devasted Mongol tank forces attempting a half assed counter-strike and several warplanes were downed over Kirkuik. The largest Mongol city fell to General Akbar's elite AzN Corps.

Incan Pirates then attacked merchant vessels. This was completely uncalled for, we struck back in kind. The americans wish to hurl nukes but they should know we will hurl them back, plans are in the making for doing so.

For now we enjoy full superiority on the ground and air.

Oh and im please to announce we are preparing for the "Final" assualt on Southeast asia/Vietnam. Lets hope it doesnt turn into a real Vietnam. The Mongols are beat, and the Siberian attack preparations are under way unless the mongols care to negotiate some sort of truce which allows them to live in the Siberian enclave, only if troops lay down there arms in the South Asian pennisula.


The Inca's thought it would be cool to pirate. There entire Indian Ocean fleet , now ceases to exist. With 5 Ships sunk and the rest of the fleet scattering. A systematic campaign has begun to cut off Australia.

Dugrik, I give you an Ultimatum. I say, lay down your arms in Southeast asia and you have my word, your Siberian Enclave shall be spared. Renounce the west and take on an Isolationist attitude, and I have no problem with you. This is the only offer you will get. Right now 25+ troop brigades are poised to move north. And 16+ South. If you accept this, I shall spare you from utter destruction. The choice is yours, Total Annihalation, or peaceful co-existance with Assyria and Eygpt. Im not one to have patience in this matter, and I expect an answer by next turn.

Ya but ive acquired 6 Mongol cities, with Oil refinerys, they will be producing 1400+.

Seems old dugrik wasnt the best economic leader. Most of these cities didnt have factorys.
