Alex, you're being inconsistient. USSR is just as much a country as Palestine. I have nothing wrong with Palestenian flag being there, if flags of Chechnya, Kurds, Basqs, USSr get added, too.

Sorry to interrupt your country bashing for a while, but could somebody help me out why the Belgian flag is about half of the size of other flags? I mean, I know Belgium is small, but there is not need to depicture this in a flag, is there?

I saw a lot of different sizes and formfactors too, some are almost square, while others are too wide for their height. I can imagine this is browser related (Netscape 6.2.1 here), but still it is strange.

But, that doesn't change the fact that it is a cool addition

I think aaglo is right, your flag is square. You would know best, so let us know. But if it is, each flag is the same height and than varies in length based on their official design.

The Belgian flag is square? That is the first I hear about it. No, it should be the same like your flag for instance, that's the shape I was expecting.

I thought nearly all flags are about the same shape, there may be a few exceptions, but just to keep all the same size it would be nice if those flags that aren't the standard shape get deformed into the standard shape. Or at least that's my opinion, I think my Belgian flag looks stupid now...
