I do like the feature, but if you are going to have bogus flags like the NZ maori flag and the Oz aborigine flag, why not go the whole hog and put whatever flag anyone wants in there? Either that or limit the choice to existing countries.

Yeah, I mean....Is Palestine a country? No.....Is the EU a country? No......Is the UN a country? No......If you wont add the USSR flag because it's not a country, then please remove all the bogus flags.

tniem and Iskander, I'm not disputing that some encyclopedias, and 'official' flag sites on the net say it is a 3:4 shape flag, but I dare you to come to Belgium and find me a flag like that here. I guess it is one of those things were one source is responsible for nearly all references, while the every day life is different. I was truely amazed by seeing it on Apolyton in a square form, believe me, I've seen loads of Belgian flags, and not one of them was different from the normal size.
It could be that officially it should be different, but I guess the Royal palace would display it correctly, no? Next time I'll pass there, I'll pay extra attention to the shape
Besides, I'm perfectly happy now that Markos has changed it, and I can't imagine one Belgian complaining now... there is little need to go into a discussion over it now
