why dont we have these kind of things in Greece? do you have this in your country? Tired of ads?

The U.S. government has returned to its old ways of bursting budgets and so New York's landmark national debt clock lit up again on July 11, 2002 after a two-year hiatus, whizzing higher by $30 a second. A spatter of puzzled pedestrians stared up at a bustling corner near Times Square as workers switched on a massive 11-by-26-foot digital clock that had lay dormant for nearly two years. I wonder what the cost of upkeep on that sign is. They should build another one right next to it that monitors the electrical usage and updates it's own display showing the value of it and each American's share.

We could pay that one off in no time...

Well, here in Brazil the numbers would have to be updated at such a high speed that no one would be able to see them, anyway.

Ya were back in the deficit. But I guess we sort of had too. As long as it isnt 500 billion and in the 2-5% range its not a problem. Its paid back when things get better.

We'll see the 500 billion number (which would be about 5 %; not sure if your range is preceded by an "is" or "is not".)
