I forget his name but the French General who was in charge of all French forces during the Algierian war spoke about this sort of situation. At the time Algierian revolutionaries were planting bombs and assasinating people in order to demoralize the French and to make them leave. The terrorists were very hard to catch and when they were caught they always refused to talk.

One day the police raided an apartment that doubled as a bomb making factory and they caught one of the men who was responsible for a series of public bombings. They knew the man had knowledge of an upcoming attack and the police wanted to force the rebal to speak even if it meant torcher. The general refused saying he didn't want to be like a nazi. The next day a bomb went off in the middle of a crowded market place and dozens of people were killed. It was the same bomb they could have prevented if they had forced the man to speak.

Quite a Hobsson's choice isn't it? To stop a monster you often must either become a monster or lose. BTW after that attack the French officially began to use torcher to force rebals to speak. Using those tactics the French won the battle of Algiers; which wsas the only major post WW2 colonial rebellion to successfully be put down by the European powers.

As the Russian, Chinese, & Vietnamese civil wars all point out the winner is often the one who is most willing to do ANYTHING to win including kill, torcher, & terrorize. It is sad but true.

A lot of the hatred towards Israel that breeds a willingness to become a suicide bumber would begin to dissipate. Yes, there will still be crzies trying to blow themselves up, but as yet, no society has figured out a way to be crime proof and completely safe.

I want to say that Israel plays Civilization and palestina plays GTA. I disagree with eurorean Union and United Nations that support terrorist. I'm from Israel, and my co-workers (pupils from my school) were killed in dolphi at 1 July 2001. Arabs pay oil to europa and United Nations and they allow 11 September.
We see that all these terracts (9,13 September 1999 Moscow, 11 September New-York, recent terract in India were performed by one group) supported by Europe.
